Denver Broncos Fans Will Get What They Deserve On Sunday

I write this knowing full well it won't be well received. MHR, to me, is a shining beacon of Broncos goodness in a sea of negativity about my favorite team, which is why this is a FanPost instead of a Front Page post. I am also someone who believes that everything happens for a reason. I'm not sure if that is a religious thing about me or spiritual or what, it is just what I believe.

I believe the Broncos will lose on Sunday ... and rightfully so.

Why do the Broncos deserve to the lose? Because the fans deserve to be punished. If the world were right, that is how it would happen. Kyle Orton was wrongfully treated from day one by most of the fanbase. I played a role in that, but much of my criticism stemmed from his inability to win home games or to lose games late. That sort of criticism is correct, but there was more than just that type of criticism. There was a sort of vitriol that was not becoming of a classy fanbase. Comments about his life, his beliefs, his child and a myriad of other comments that were unnecessary and hateful. Leading me to believe that God may have helped give Tim Tebow an extra year, while at the same time punishing Broncos fans collectively for their mistreatment of Orton.

The Lord giveth. The Lord taketh away. Right?

Or you can call it Karma if you do not have a religious streak like I do. The concept is relatively the same. On Sunday, Kyle Orton will get his vindication against the Broncos and against us fans. The horrible irony will be, he couldn't win in Denver as a Bronco, but will do it as a Chief. Go figure.

Broncos fans are in a frenzy over this game and everyone seems to believe the Broncos are going to swallow him up, but having taken an MHR-cation this week and really from all Broncos news may haven given me a bit of clarity of thought coming up to this game. For me, it is what it is. And there is a silver lining for us fans ...

I believe the San Diego Chargers will win as well, so the Broncos will get into the playoffs through the backdoor. From there, all bets are off!
