I mean, the dude lit us up.I would have bet my paycheck that he would not have beat us passing the ball.
Jared Allen, talking about Tim Tebow. I'm sure the Tim Tebow Foundation would enjoy that game check, Jared!

He.......
wouldn’t have really bet his paychck. Low level cowaard…..
I might have taken that bet just to put him on the spot. That was a bad secondary. Allen had a good first half and disappeared in the second. Clady matched him pretty well, and the play went around Allen otherwise…..
Hey Jared
Maybe start using your own brain and eyes instead of being told what to think by espn nfln etc. Sheep. Hope the rest of the teams we face are just as surprised after the game as you.

Persomally,
I don’t criticize players who compliment our QB Tebow with nice words. Percy Harvin was also full of cvompliments

Percy and Tebow had a love relationship at FL. They lit it up
Gaff and Lloyd both worked with TT in the off season. It would be nice if we still had one of them.
To his Allen's credit...
This is the first game where Tebow has primarily beaten the competition with his arm. And lit them up he did.
Allen is a character but he did not mean this in harm, he is confident in his own abilities and the defense got housed in the 2nd half. He is extremely frustrated. Full Transaction:
BS: What impressed you about Tebow?
JA: He lit us up. I can’t say nothing about that. We didn’t let him run. I guess that’s a plus. I would’ve bet my paycheck that he would not have beat us passing the football.
BS: Good thing you didn’t make that bet.
JA: Yeah. (Laughs.) Hats off to him. He’s a competitor. The guy really is.

To Allen's credit...*

Percy Harvin
"When I hear all those ESPN commentators say, ‘He can’t do this,’ I laugh. After the game, I whispered in his ear, ‘Let ’em keep hating. Keep ’em hating on you.’ " —-Percy Harvin (teammate and friend from Florida)

That's awesome
And, to me, means more than Allen’s comments. It’s nice to hear a former teammate coming to his defence. For some reason, I thought he was the one who said something to the effect that Tebow wasn’t a ‘real’ QB. But now I understand it was another player, with a (so far) non descript playing career.
I think I have good ideas sometimes. I just suck at communicating them.
Paraphrasing,
Percy Harvin was working out with Tim Tebow at UF after he was drafted by the Vikes, but before training camp. He mentioned that he worked out at UF, but Tebow wasn’t an NFL QB. And it was the truth, because Tebow was returning for his senior year and Harvin was expected to learn the offense that the Vikes would run.
Most of us didn’t take it as a dig at Tebow, as much as an “I know I’ve got to join the Vikes and work out with them.”
"I'll always use the negativity as more motivation to work even harder and become even stronger."

Percy and Tim are definitely friends.....
And, it was Deonte Thompson that made those comments that “John Brantley threw like a real QB.” Which of course reporter then turned it into a dig on Tebow. Subsequently Coach Meyer confronted that reporter who made sure to publish that statement. Well, you see where John Brantley got the Gators.
There is so much history between Harvin and Tebow coming in the same recruiting class. But, none more historical when Harvin got hurt the last game of the season. Percy promise Tebow if he and the team could get by Alabama in the SECCG he would be back for the NCG against the eventual opponent Oklahoma. Harvin did and was what the difference in that NCG.
Harvin also got into it with Urban in practice because he felt he was yelling at Tebow in a harsh way. So these two are buds. It’s good to see both succeed.
My favorite player on the Broncos is Dawkins. He is still a favorite in my hometown Jacksonville, Fl. I loved seeing him getting in the D’s face yesterday.
Go Broncos!!
BTW if you haven’t seen Terrell Davis comments on Twitter yesterday check them out. Priceless….

Just the facts!
He did light them up!
Now, just think what the team might look like with TWO halves of football like yesterday’s second half?!!
I just want to see the Broncos score LOTS of points, beat the SNOT out of the opponent, and walk away with a humble "God Bless". How about you?
slowly but surely
they’ll all come around. Same thing with Revis, our ENTIRE DIVISION, and it will happen to the Bears next week!
Who would win in a fight between... a grilled cheese sandwhich or a taco?
Well, I think the grilled cheese sandwich - in a fair fight. But if it was prison rules, I'd put my money on the taco.
Wow, that's pretty racist but correct.
I just found my new signature.....Thanx J.A.

And a sweet one it is.
