Tebow-ing

I normally don't post - but I saw something that really made my day yesterday - PRIOR to the game. As usual on Sunday Morning, I'm watching the NFL pre-game shows (not sure which one exactly) and the hosts are Rich Eisen, Marshall Faulk, Steve Mariucci, Warren Sapp, and Michael Irvin. I switch back and forth channels often to see what they're saying about the Broncs, but something made me watch this from start to finish. Usually these guys are haters. Michael Irvin ate crow fairly early on with Tebow, but the rest have been lukewarm at best (typical MSM) on Tebow and his success. Like most MSM, they point out how Tebow can't pass, how he's a "me" first player, etc etc.... Before the game, they all go through the list of games and make their selections - Eisen talks about the Denver Minnesota game, and who each person thinks will win. Mariucci, Sapp, and Irvin all then "Tebow" at the same time. I don't know how many of you got to see it, but after all the hatred given towards Tebow and his style of play it was very refreshing to see some folks jumping on the bandwagon. It was absolutely AWESOME to call all of my Bay Area friends and tell them that one of their favorite coaches and players just jumped on the bandwagon after the amount of crap I catch out here as a die-hard Broncos fan. Tebow is a rare athlete who inspires everyone around him to play their hardest, to be the best. Leaders don't come along very often, and I PRAY that Elway/Fox/Xanders see what they truly have in this young man. I bought his jersey in Denver in October - since then, it's been a magical ride. Yes, you can thank me later, as my purchase coincides with our recent win streak LOL... Let's use this year's picks on CB, RB, MLB first. Then we worry about depth on both lines. I think this team is a few pieces away from being very special but we need young talent and depth at CB, and that's where we are solely lacking. Players of the week - Colquitt, Haggan, Thomas, Prater, and BDawk. I'm only picking 5 because they each stood out with a single play that changed the game. I can't give it to Goodman because outside of that pick, he was torched all game. GO BRONCOS!!!
