DaQuan Bowers compared to Elvis Dumervil/Robert Ayers

I keep reading where people think that DaQuan Bowers is a one year wonder and that Denver shouldn't draft him.  I went back and took a look at his college stats compared to our own Elvis Dumervil and he stacks up very nicely.  I think that if Denver stays at the #2 pick in the draft it should be either Nick Fairley or DaQuan Bowers.

More after the jump.

Senior Year????---------------    I would bet he had as many or more in 2011 if he played as a Senior.

So if you look at DaQuan Bowers stats compared to Elvis Dumervil's , he compares very fairably.

Rob Rang - cbssportsline.com "Hard to believe, but even though he led the nation with 15.5 sacks he's more impressive against run than pass. " on DaQuan Bowers.

Teaming Bowers with Dumervil would give Denver 2 Serious Pass Rushing DE's.  Denver was last in the NFL in Sacks in 2010 but if they decide to team Bowers with Dumervil that # could go up big time.
