Now this is not a mock, just curious what the fan base feels about a high RB pick, More after the jump.
Now like everyone else here, I hope Denver can pick up a play-making RB in Free Agency to rotate with Moreno, and assuming we get a CBA prior to the draft, and FA occurs, it wouldn't surprise me a bit if that is how coach Fox and Elway go. What if there is not a CBA? Elway knows the value of a powerful runner, ask him the difference between the losing Super Bowl teams and his 97-98 Team and he will answer "Terrell Davis" (I know this, I have seen quotes from Elway essentially stating this, it's not opinion).
That being said, If a trade down occurs, and we pick up and additional 2nd, and Mark Ingram ends up being available in the beginning of the 2nd round, how would MHR feel about adding the young playmaker? He could be a dangerous combination with Moreno. That would still leave a first round, and 2 second rounders to obtain defensive play makers.
Just to point out, I am not advocating the pick, just curious as to fan opinion.
