Carolina drafts Blaine Gabbert #1 overall after an impressive pro day. Cincinnati panics because Carson Palmer wants out of town and Buffalo is drooling over Cam Newton with the #3 pick so they make a trade with our beloved Broncos for the #2 pick in the draft. We get their 1st and 2nd round picks this year along with a 2nd round pick next year. Buffalo gets screwed out of the top two QBs but don't feel sorry for them because they get the #1 talent in the draft, Patrick Peterson.
Round 1, Pick #4 (From Cincinnati) - Marcell Dareus, DT, Alabama
We're extremely lucky to be able to trade down and still get the #1 guy on our board.
Round 2, Pick #35 (From Cincinnati) - Stephen Paea, DT, Oregon St.
We get another difference maker and all of a sudden our defensive line looks a lot more talented.
Round 2, Pick #36 - Rahim Moore, FS, UCLA
We get the #1 safety in the draft and our secondary gets younger.
Round 2, Pick #46 - Bruce Carter, OLB, North Carolina
We need better linebackers, Mr. Carter helps us out.
Round 3, Pick #67 - Quan Sturdivant, ILB, North Carolina
We find more linebacker talent in North Carolina.
Round 6, Pick #184 - Jeron Johnson, SS, Boise St.
A strong safety with potential.
Round 7, Pick #194 - Mike McNeill, TE, Nebraska
We need help at tight end and Mike McNeill is the right guy at this point in the draft.
Tell me what you think fellas.
