Louie Wright and Tom Nalen back in Football, in Denver.
Metro State is starting a football club and managed to land some names to the coaching staff that we all know.
From Metro's website:
Coaches:
Head Coach: Darius Watts
Def. Coordinator: Louie Wright
O-Line Coach: Tom Nalen
DL/LB Coach: Anthony Dunn
RB Coach: Kevin Prosser
As a Metro alumnus, I've always been impressed with the talent they attract to their staff. Let's hope they can attract similar talent to their team.
Go Roadrunners!

...and I hope they don't change the name to DSU
they’ve gotta keep “Metro” in there.
remember him?
fast receiver from 04-05. drafted 2nd round by the Broncos. recently coached in the arena league in Phily.
i do remember him but...
why…? he was brutal…surgically repaired hand/arm. didnt realize he was coaching material.
the internet? that thing is still around?

I don't know if he is head-coaching material or not.
it’s a brand new program with $0, so he may have been the most experienced coach to apply.
I like his staff, though!
Just a point of clarity...
Louis Wright has been actively involved in football in the area for the last several years. He is a PE teacher at a high school in Aurora and has worked as an assistant high school coach for multiple programs. This may represent a new foray for him but by no means is a return.
