To break up all of the innumerable mock drafts, I thought I'd throw a mock with some players that we would be lucky to have. Put these players in Orange and Blue and I smell something 'Super'.
With the #2 pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos select........................
Bobby Boucher OLB - We get the new cog of our Orange Crush defense. Boucher isn't a vocal leader but does lead by example with a great motor and hits like a ton of bricks.
#36) Shane Falco QB - We give Tim Tebow a time to develop under a true leader and all around great football player. Falco is a mobile QB and earns the respect of his fellow players by being tough as nails and has a cannon for an arm. He falls in the 2nd round because of the disastrous showing in the Sugar Bowl.
#43) Earl Megget RB - We get the complement to Moreno in Megget. He's a super fast, super shifty RB who is a homerun threat every time he touches it and is a nightmare to try to tackle. He falls out of the first round due to character concerns from his jail stint. Should split 50-50 with Moreno.
#46) Billy Bob G/T - We add quality depth on our line with this road grater! He falls to us here due to weight and concussion concerns but he's too good of a football player to pass up. Should play either RG or RT.
#67) Luther 'Shark' Lavay MLB - This fiery, vocal leader is a great addition to our LB corps. Should start from day 1 and be our Ray Lewis. He has some miles on his tires so he falls due to durability concerns. But he'll be an All Pro MLB for years to come.
#186) Danny Bateman OLB - We complete our new look LB corps with the pick of Bateman. He is a high-motor ultra high intense LB. He's available here because he was out of football for a bit but now we benefit from it.
#189) Forrest Gump KR/PR - After seeing the impact of Devin Hester and the kickoff being brought up to the 35 yard line, selecting Gump here gives us an elite kick returner
#247) Willie Beamen QB - Beamen is listed as a QB but would start at corner/free safety for us. He is a terrific athlete with great speed and genius ankles. He falls to us here because of the lack of confidence that he can be an NFL QB. Being a college QB he will be our wildcat QB and our emergency 3rd string QB. Beamen has all the tools and is a great football player but he is a bit cocky and has problems with authority.

Nigel Gruff K - Enormous leg on this Wales native. His first in-game field goal attempt was a 65 yarder which he made with room to spare. Former soccer player who could kick the ball the length of the field, and score. He goes undrafted and not a 1st rounder like Sebastian Janikowski :) because he's a smoker, drinker, and has a gambling problem. But simply put, he's wiry.
Rudy Ruettiger DE - Rudy is all heart. He's never missed a practice so he's shown major durability. He's also shown great pass-rushing skills, he averages a sack-per-play. That's phenomenal. He could play opposite Elvis Dumervil and we'd have the most feared bookends in the league. Rudy also brings the luck of the Irish to Mile High.
Switowski DT - Our run defense is solved by acquiring this monster. Not the brightest player ever but with coaching between every play (telling him to crush the QB/ball carrier). If the coaches find a way to spark his fuse we could have our own version of Mr. Suh.
There you have it. We got some talented players on both sides of the ball and a special teams ace. We kept all of our original picks and should be hoisting that Lombardi Trophy soon!
