The NFL will release the 2011 NFL Regular Season schedule on Tuesday, April 19 at 7:00PM et on NFL Network the League announced today. Also announced were the teams headed to London to play in the International Series game at Wembley Stadium. This year's version will feature the Chicago Bears and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It is the second time the Bucs will give up a home game in order to travel to London, last doing it against the New England Patriots in 2009.
"Our past four games in London have demonstrated the tremendous passion for NFL football that exists in the UK," said NFL Commissioner ROGER GOODELL. "We hope by staging another extraordinary game at Wembley that we can continue to grow our existing fan base and attract even more new fans."
There is a caveat, however. Should the current labor situation in the NFL not be resolved by August 1, the game will revert back to it's original location at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
