Day 3 Mock to make me Happ.. Ughh Content

After Day 2 I was not totally pleased as the same reason as most Broncos Fans,  NO DT IN THE FIRST 3 ROUNDS.  Most of the Mock drafts, and comments I read here on MHR, suggested the Broncos get a least 1 if not 2.  At first I wasn't totally pleased about the Von Miller pick, however convinced myself we can use him at SAM in our 4-3, even though he played DE, and suited best for a 3-4 Rush OLB.  In Day 2 we started off exactly how I wanted when we traded down, and obtained a 4th, and 5th round pick.  Then we drafted Rahim Moore, listening to everything he said, and film I have no problems here. Then we pick Orlando Franklin, Not exactly what I wanted, however after reading the comment saying he was drafted to play RT, it only solidifies, the fact that Ryan Harris is Gonzo.  So at this point we drafted 3 starters, 1 LB, 1 S, and our OT.  Then I believe we reached a little for Nate Irving.  I like the player just a bit of a reach, still preferably wanted a DT, and if we had to go ILB I would prefer Martez Wilson. But Irving, is was my number 3 ILB overall (after Wilson and Greg Jones), and can still contribute.  Its done now, and I can live with it.  From here on it only aggravated me watching every DT come off the board.   Therefore going into day 3 this is what I would like to see which I think is possible from EFX.

Jerrell Powe (DL)

  • Height: 6'2"
  • Weight: 335 lbs.
  • Arm Length: 33 1/4 in.
  • Hand Size: 9 5/8 in.
  • College: Mississippi
  • Conference: SE
Round 4: Best True DT Prospect left, can play a 3-4 NT, or 4-3 DT

D.J. Williams (TE)
  • Height: 6'2"
  • Weight: 245 lbs.
  • Arm Length: 31 1/2 in.
  • Hand Size: 10 3/8 in.
  • College: Arkansas
  • Conference: SEC

Round 5: Good in redzone, and decent a run support.

Ian Williams (DL)
Round 6: Another Big Body that is excellent at stuffing the run, however lacks getting after qb (Leave that to Miller and Doom), coming of MCL injury
Delone Carter (RB)
  • Height: 5'9"
  • Weight: 222 lbs.
  • Arm Length: 31 in.
  • Hand Size: 9 1/2 in.
  • College: Syracuse
  • Conference: Big East

Round 6: Strong quick Runner, that can run up to middle, however doesn't have the true big play potential. Decent blocker, can be a bruiser change of pace for Moreno (Still want to see how Lendale White mixes in)

Adrian Taylor (DL)
  • Height: 6'3"
  • Weight: 311 lbs.
  • Arm Length: 33 in.
  • Hand Size: 9 7/8 in.
  • College: Oklahoma
  • Conference: Big 12

Round 7: Could be the one of the biggest (Literally) steals in draft, not great at anything, but very good at stuffing the run, and decent at getting in the QBs face.
