I talked about Bowers a while back - now it seems he is definitely moving down the board.  I think he can impact the defense, and I think he's still worth talking about.  Hopefully a CBA in place, and we trade Orton to the Vikings for #43.

Here's my take on the draft:

#2 - traded to Cowboys for #9, #40, and #71 - I haven't checked the charts, but this seems to be a good deal for both teams in a stacked defensive draft.  Dallas wants Patrick Peterson and will trade up to get their man. 

#9 - Denver selects Daquan Bowers DE- I know DT is a bigger need, but he could be a special pass rusher and we shouldn't pass him up

# 36 - Stephen Paea DT

#40 - Marvin Austin DT

#43 -  Akeem Ayers S

#46 - Martez Wilson/Bruce Carter LB

# 67 - Marcus Cannon, OT (assuming Harris is gone)

#71 - Casey Matthews

Not going to bother with mocking any later rounds.  However, this draft could really address Denver's defensive needs and move us forward into a new era of dominance.  I still think we need a 3rd string QB and a backup RB, but we can address those in FA.....
