From General Manager Ramon Fernandez: Drake Nevis is a very athletic interior lineman who is able to disrupt offenses whether they are passing or throwing. At one point, Nevis clocked in at a 4.92 in the 40 yard dash which is excellent for any lineman, let alone a defensive tackle! The defensive tackle made the most of his 13 starts in 13 games in 2010. He finished fifth on the team in both solo tackles (30) and total tackles (56), but he was first in tackles for loss (13). Nevis was also second on the team in sacks with six and he recorded four quarterback hurries, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and one interception. With suspect talent at DT for the Titans, Drake would fit really nice in between the DEs Jason Babin and Jacob Ford and together, they will form a excellent defensive line.
