Hey guys, thanks for the amazing feedback on my first post. I thought the news on "Big Vick" would be great for my second post.
Vickerson is down from his Nt size of 321 lbs, to a DE size of 285 lbs. You gotta love it, but you also gotta hate it. In my first post, I talked about how Big Vick is one of the most athletic DL in the league. That was at the size of a NT. Now he has lost all his fat, he is all muscle.
He'll be too good. On the bad side, we now need a legitimate run-stopper. Here are the new candidates for the DT pos. opened up by Vickerson.
Ronald Fields: A stout DT that has a powerful balance of strength and size. While he isn't a pass-rusher, he is a presence in the middle, and was a huge part of Dumervil's breakout year.
Ryan McBean: Fairly large, and shows explosiveness, athleticism, and is a ballhawk. I see a breakout year for him.
Alan Branch: Branch is a powerful run-stopper, who has emerged as a real possibility for the Bronco's DT pos.
Remi Ayodele: Large man who plays like he's 500 lbs. Would reunite with Allen.
