Undrafted, FA players we need to sign
As much as I love Spencer Larsen - we need to go and pick up Henry Hynoski, a true FB. With the depth at linebacker, there really isn't a place for him on the team anymore. We need someone to help pick up blitzes coming from Tebow's weak side, where we may start a rookie tackle.
Second, we need to go after DeAngelo Williams. With Williams, Moreno, and Lendale in the backfield, we have plenty of depth and experience.
Third - RESIGN Thomas and Bannon. If not Bannon then go get Cofield. We need beef in the middle, nothing more nothing less. Thomas and Vickerson are our best options.
Fourth - go get Herzlich. Unbelievable that he didn't get picked up in the draft. Bye Mario Haggan.
Fifth - offensive line - I think we need to strongly consider resigning Harris. Having depth on the line is necessary, and Hochstein needs to go. If Franklin can't beat out Harris, then let him play guard and let Beadles back up RT. Consider the center from TCU, Kirkpatrick, as well to back up or compete for the job against JD Walton.
Depth Chart:
QB: Orton/Tebow/Quinn
RB: Moreno/Williams/White
FB: Hynoski
TE: Thomas/Green/Quinn
WR: Thomas (when healthy), Lloyd, Decker, Royal, Gaffney
OLine: Clady/Frankin/Walton/Kuper/Harris
DLine: Ayers/Vickerson/Thomas/Dumervil
OLB: Williams and Miller
MLB: Irving/Herzlich
CB: Champ/Goodman/Cox/Thompson
S: Dawkins, Carter (I see Moore stepping in about halfway through the year, but I see Carter outplaying Hill in camp)
I'm excited for this year.......

Herzlich went undrafted for a reason
He hasn’t recovered yet. He’s slow and he never had elite athleticism. He’s a wonderful story and I would love all kids to have his jersey, but teams aren’t drafting on story.
Free Agency will be interesting
I can see us going for Williams, he fits a great need and understands RB by committee.
Harris doesn’t fit what Fox wants in a RT. We drafted what he wants at # 46.
Harris is a goner.
They won’t pay him what he wants and he’s not worth what he’s asking, he’s average at best and can’t seem to stay healthy. He’ll be playing somewhere else this season.

Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. Shouldn't pay Harris
He’s too injury prone and would command a large contract. Plus I think he had work ethic and attitude issues which is why he was benched.
Deangelo would be a FA steal. His contract won’t be TOO large because he’s been hurt, but this guy is a top 10 back when healthy and in full form.
I like either Cofield or Mebane. Both are young and solid players. I expect we’ll end up with one or the other. I honestly think Haynesworth is in play. Not happy about it, but I do think it’s a possibility.
Draft Peterson. Elway fears him.
I'd like 2 more Panthers:
sam LB James Anderson, to get depth of Von Miller on the first 2 downs;
DE Charles Johson.
Both are Fox’ formers and would fit great our defense.
I WANT VETERANS IN CRUCIAL SPOTS
ON THE DLINE FREE AGENTs KRIS JENKINS, Trevor Pryce, Justin Bannan these guys have seen it all in the trenches, they will sniff out the play & call it out to put or young LBs in perfect position to REAK HAVOC!! on offense im pretty sure we can get him at good price RT Damien Woody would be the best option if HARRIS doesn’t stay,
NO PRESSURE= NO DIAMONDS
Jenkins, like Jamal Williams, is done. There is no tread left on the tires.
Jenkins played in 1 game in 2010 and 6 games in 2009. At 31 carrying around 360 lbs, he may still be an immovable object, but he also can’t move himself. He would be a waste of money to bring in as a FA.
O Line undrafted rookie I'd like to see
USC’s center Kris O’Dowd. He’s big and smart. I’ve seen him play well the past 2 years and think he could easily fit into the Broncos system.
A few thoughts
There are a number of FA running backs out there who could fit nicely here. DeAngelo Williams is definitely one of them. Also available: Ahmad Bradshaw, Michael Bush, Ronnie Brown, Ricky Williams, Clinton Portis and a few others. We will definitely come away with one of these players.
As much as I’d like to see them re-sign Harris, I think he’s gone. They’ve all but anointed Franklin the new RT. That said, our O-line depth is not good right now. I would love to have them go out and pick up a top-flight guard so that Beadles can be the main backup at guard and tackle. They’ll likely also pick up someone who can backup Clady.
The D-line, as we all know, is probably the most pressing area to address. I’m guessing that they’ll bring back Marcus Thomas and look to add two more pieces on the interior. Fox said today that they’d like to bring in a nose tackle and three-technique.
Here’s an idea that I haven’t seen anywhere: how about Orton and a sixth to the Cardinals for either Alan Branch or Gabe Watson and a third? Both are massive prospects, and one of them is likely leaving Arizona this year. This seems much more likely to me than trading for Haynesworth. You gotta believe that they’ll also go after Mebane or Coefield.
A starting line of Ayers, Branch, Coefield and Doom would be a big-time upgrade, especially rotating in Vick and Thomas. I could also see Denver picking up a rotational DE.

Beadles
Beadles is a solid guard who did good work for a rookie once he remained at guard. There is no need to bring in another starter at his spot. We need depth on the offensive line, but we do not need to be paying starter money to any one. The offensive line will be Clady, Beadles, Walton, Kuper, and Franklin. I have no clue why so many on here are so quick to disregard Beadles and yet have a perpetual hard-on for Harris. Beadles struggled at times last year when he was switched to RT following Harris’ injury. Harris has been much more of a disappointment the past season-and-a-half than the rookie Beadles was. This wasn’t just a McDaniels’ thing either with Harris being in the doghouse. It’s pretty clear that Elway, Fox, and Xanders did not see Harris as part of the solution moving forward from the time the offseason began.
I hear what you’re saying about Beadles and Harris. Clearly, EFX agrees with you on Harris. I like Beadles, but we need more bodies on the o-line. Why not bring in another mauler like Franklin to play RG and let Beadles be our swing guy on the line who can play multiple positions? There are going to be some top-flight options at G, just like there will be at RB. If we solidify both positions, it will go a long way toward making Tebow’s first full season as a starter that much better.

RE: Beadles
My point is Beadles is a starter at guard. Franklin is a starter at right tackle. There is no need to bring another guy in to start. Add depth? Yes. We don’t need to pay another guy starter’s money to come here. Beadles has earned another year as starting left guard.
Franklin will be our RT...He is very good at run blocking and likes to pancake guys...
Hynoski would be a good UFA acquistion I believe, but there are 31 other teams out there too…FA will be one pool to draw from.
The difference in Harris’ game, IMO, was that in the prior system run under Shanahan *(which we are going back to) he excelled, while he struggled in the power blocking scheme that McDaniels ran.
Let’s not forget Ryan Harris, during that time frame, was considered an all pro RT.
Why not resign him? Let the best man win. I can see no wrong with this, assuming Bowlen is willing to pony up a reasonable contract.
Not Entirely True
The running scheme the Broncos will be running is not a Shanahan/Gibbs’ zone running system. The Broncos will be mixing zone running in with power running under Fox. Fox’s system calls for much bigger and powerful linemen at the point of attack than Shanahan/Gibbs’. Hence, the Franklin pick to man the strong side of most running formations.
I understand Ryan's position and he is a RFA, so the Broncos have an option with him this year...
Xanders said he’ll be a RFA and probably play. I wouldn’t want to throw Franklin on the field right away anyway…Development is the key.
I hope we sign Dane Sanzenbacher as an CFA. I would love to add him to our already potent WR corps.
Tim Tebow wears 3WM and drinks Tuscan whole milk.
