While taking a break from debating the Broncos QB situation, I decided to take a quick look at the Broncos 2011 schedule and put a W or L for every game in an attempt to pacify my thirst for football.
Oakland - W -- We have to beat Oakland at home, have to.
Cincinnati - W -- No Carson, no bueno. Bronco win.
at Tennessee - W -- I think the Broncos can beat whoever is playing QB for the Titans.
at Green Bay - L -- Broncos are good enough to beat the world champs on the road yet.
San Diego - W -- I think the Broncos are trending up and the Chargers are trending down. But, Rivers scares me.
at Miami - L -- Miami's defense should be a top 5 unit, but I think Henne stinks. This will be a tough game for the Broncos.
Detroit - W -- Another tough game. I think Detroit is greatly improved, but I think the Broncos stand tough at home.
at Oakland - L --Tough to predict AFC West games, but I will wuss out and predict a split.
at Kansas City - L -- See above...
NY Jets - L -- Jets are a very good team. Tough loss for Denver.
at San Diego - L -- Rivers charges San Diego to a win.
at Minnesota - L -- I know Minnesota's QB situation is dicey, but I think they beat the Broncos at home.
Chicago - W -- 2 words for you: Jay whambulance Cutler.
New England - L -- Broncos lose a heartbreaker to big Bill.
at Buffalo - W -- This game is truly a toss-up. The Broncos are a better team but Buffalo in December is a tough place to play.
Kansas City - W -- Broncos stand tough and route the Chefs.
Wow, did I just say the Broncos are going 8-8? I think I did. Teehee
I truly can't see us winning less than 6 games. I think 7-9 or 8-8 is very realistic. Wow, I feel much better.
Hopefully the CBA nonsense is taken care of in June and we can get some freakin' free agency going.
