Victim in Broncos' Cox case feared she was drugged

3

DENVER (AP) — Police say Denver Broncos cornerback Perrish Cox was arrested on sexual assault charges after a woman told officers she believed she was raped while she was drugged. An arrest warrant affidavit released Friday says the woman became pregnant and that DNA tests show Cox is the father. The document says the woman told police that doctors informed her she had become pregnant at about the time she went to Cox's apartment with friends and then passed out. The woman says she has no recollection of most of that night last September and wasn't sure anyone had sex with her until she learned she was pregnant. Cox pleaded not guilty to two counts of sexual assault. He is free on $50,000 bail. His trial is scheduled for October.
