Miami interested in Orton
I think Miami would trade a 3rd rounder for Orton in a heartbeat.
Denver should say yes, IMO.
This gets the deal done quickly, frees more capspace, gives the franchise clear direction at the QB spot for at least 1 season, and considering that the Dolphins aren't a good team in a great division, the pick will likely be a top 75 draft pick.

The more I think about it
Denver might be better off trying to get a player than a pick or a combo of player AND pick. We’ll see!
I'd like to see Denver get a 3rd or 4th PLUS a player.
Someone like Odrick or Starks or Dalton at the DT position.
Odrick was a 1st rounder last year. Don't think you are getting him.
- Ryan G.
"I think about 40 people." - Don Shula when asked after a second-straight Super Bowl in 1974 who had written "Best Ever" on the blackboard in the locker room.
"Now when I go to the bathroom I find out who my friends are." - Jake Scott after both broken hands were in casts following the 1972 season
I'm sure they'll give a little more time to develop than McD would have.

The dolphins aren't good now
but they have a good D and with Orton they become much much better. For me, its 2nd round (or value equal to that) or bust!
If you reply to a comment/post/fanshot of mine, I will more likely then not respond to it, unless you come off like a d-bag.
I agree. A second is worth it. They paid 2 seconds for Marshall who has done squat for them. Orton will at least be worth the one second we are asking for.

we need at least a 2nd round pick
Don’t forget these picks are for next years draft, making them a round less valuable than picks in the 2011.draft, which we would have traded.orton in if not for the lockout

Trades starts at 10 a.m. (when teams can announce who they traded, thus they’ve been working on it all morning)
teams have until thursday to sign their RFA’s before other teams can jump into the mix.s
who wears short shorts?
Won't do any good
I hear Marshall is going to tryout to be the team’s punter during team camps. Orton won’t be throwing it to him anyhow.
who wears short shorts?
Kyle Orton for DT Paul Soliai straight up!
We absorb Soliai’s one year 12.4 mil contract and structure it for 4-5 years for 30-40 mil with the 12.4 guaranteed. The Dolphins absorb Kyle’s one year worth reportedly 8.8 mil and deal with him accordingly…Their happy and I esctatic!
