The EFX "PLan" on par or falling apart?

Stay connected for news and updates

"In EFX we trust."

"I'm sure they have a plan."

"With guys like Fox and Elway in charge this team is headed in the right direction."

We all remember reading and writing these types of statements since Elway and Fox were hired to run our team.

After a pretty darn solid draft by EFX, we all had no choice to proclaim that they must have a plan since they did not draft a defensive tackle. Right? Fast forward to this week, still no DT. So the question becomes, why? DO we really know? I thought I did and the way the week started. I was sure it was going to play out just as I thought. I truly believed and imagined EFX did too, after trading Kyle Orton, we would have some money for a DT or 2 and a running back.

Well still no trade. Have they over valued Orton? Is there any truth that Tim Tebow is the root of this current mess? Can both Tebow and Orton exist on the same roster? Are we more like 5 years away from any success rather than 3 like Elway said?

After hearing reports this morning from late yesterday the deal with MIami is all but dead, I'm not convince it cant be revived, but it doesn't appear that will happen as soon as many of us would like. So I ask, is the EFX plan on par or falling apart? Or are they just the victims of taking over a team whose salary cap and roster is such a mess, they have been handcuffed to the steering wheel of a car with no brakes rolling towards a cliff?

Do they have to crash to the bottom before they can fix this mess or will they find the key?

We must all believe that EFX only wants what is best for the team, and trading Orton for chump change may not be. I wrote an earlier post that if Orton is not traded he will start this season, I am sticking to that premise. I also have the belief that EFX may redo a deal with Orton which may end up being more cap friendly and trade friendly for that matter.

In EFX we trust!

Give us some hope, we love our Broncos.
