...perhaps it’s time to do something more productive with your time than repeat that message here over and over (and over) again.  Now before you go off in a tizzy with a “don’t tell me who is or isn’t a fan” or “I can do what I want! This is a free blogosphere” rant, let me explain myself:

I’m jealous of you. You, my friend, are certain. You know for sure. This season is done. The Broncos are awful. They are officially 0-16 before the season has started. EFX are horribly over-matched. Orton, the QUARTERBACK CONTROVERSY and the ghost of McD have drug us into the pit of hell and this is where we are. Our goose is 1000x overcooked and any playoff consideration (let alone respectability) is so ridiculous Jim Mora wouldn’t even be able to croak a syllable, let alone chirp his famous retort to the famous question of his (then) Saints playoff-worthiness if asked about this year’s Broncos.

With such certainty, you have the freedom to spend time with friends and family, and simply enjoy life. You can take a walk. You can work out. You can take a beer-making class (I’ve had my eye on one of those for some time, myself)! Maybe you can come back here with your new found knowledge and share it with those of us fools who don’t yet get it -- we’ll almost certainly need the buzz.

And, when we certainly suck, we will almost certainly land Luck. Right? That, according to some in the certain crowd, is even the overt plan (thanks to Elway’s Stanford connection and all). It sounds pretty good. It’s only one more year. And you don’t need to waste another minute of it here because you already know how it ends!

So get out there and live life. Who’re the winners? Certainly not the Broncos (or the rest of us who keep hoping for something positive to happen). You’re the winners! Please do stop by at the end of the year and remind the rest of us who still don’t know exactly how you were right. Maybe it will teach us to listen next time.
