According to ESPN, Denver has signed former St. Louis Ram TE Daniel Fells. He's listed as 6-4, 272. Here's the best highlight I could find of him.

Hmmmm...
While I am not sure why we keep ignoring our glaring need for DT’s, I do really like picking up Daniel Fells.
The guy not only has good size and blocking ability, but he brings good hands to the field as well. He is probably our most complete tight end at the moment, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him get the most snaps this year at the position.

There is some disagreement as to his actual weight
PFR lists Fells as 252 lbs while NFL.com and ESPN lists him at 272.
I guess we’ll find out soon enough.
I wonder how many TEs will make the final roster
I also wonder if they want this guy to play FB

I think how versatile they are will play a role
Quinn and Gronk better start brushing up on their special teams skills of they are gone. Of course, it maybe too late for them already.
It sure is looking that way isn't it.

How many TE's are we going to carry this year?

This is our round-about way of getting DT's....
We are signing a whole herd of TE’s, & turning them out into a corn field to get them to 300lbs.
Dick Quinn, one of my least favorite McD moves… On his way out. You won’t be missed.
