Brandon Marshall diagnosed with borderline personality disorder
Recently ran across this and thought I would pass it along. It does help make more sense of things.

yeah, I'm glad you solved it
Hundreds, if not thousands, of peer reviewed studies on BPD and the work done by countless researchers later and yet you’ve solved the problem! Disorders like this are just a way for people to justify their bad choices.

That was sarcasm btw
and people like you who marginalize real mental health problems are the reason so many are ashamed to come forward and seek treatment. Maybe read a book or talk to a research psychologist or psychiatric. BM definitely shows classic signs of BPD and I’m glad he’s acknowledged it. Personality disorders are hard to treat, and impossible to treat if the person can’t admit they have a problem!
Hey jackass...
I deal with the “mentally ill” everyday with my job. Don’t be so quick to assume. After all, maybe my opinion is actually an informed one.
nard,
The timing of this coincides with his stabbing, obstruction of justice, domestic violence incident with his wife. Kind of interesting that someone, (I wonder who?) would let this diagnosis leak to the public. After all, what about HIPPA, etc. Brandon Marshall is a criminal who gets paid to play football. Weenies like you, lapping this BS up, is what excuses behavior and prevents accountability.
it's a tough call
I’m not a clinician but I’ve dealt with people with personality disorder. My first impulse was skepticism but I can’t discount the diagnosis since it is a good fit, according to what I have read on this specific subject.

******* George Santayana described fanaticism as -- "redoubling your effort after you've forgotten your aim"
There's certainly room
for BM to take accountability for his actions. There’s no doubt in my mind of that. But I’m a weenie because I actually give some creedence to, you know, peer reviewed and medically accepted diagnoses? Many people with disorders are encouraged by clinicians to come forward with their problems so they can better deal with issues they might have.
I think it is harder to come forward to admit that you have a disorder that makes people look at you like a freak than it is to just ignore it or make excuses that aren’t related to a mental illness.
Ummm…… Duh!
