Who needs expensive free agents:we got 17 undrafted rookies

Ok so they are rookies, AND they were undrafted but we still have some prospects. I realize these guys are meant to be back-ups but maybe we find another Rod smith. Maybe 1 out of 17 can start for us. These guys are long shots, but sometimes a guy just needs a chance.

Mario fannon looks like a good backup rb, hes got good size. Maybe a little big, but that just means he can slide to fb.

Adam Grant is a good sized tackle(6' 6" 325) and had some accolades while in college. OL can sometimes be overlooked too.

Adam Weber had a strong collegiate career, with 50 starts he should be a very experienced QB. I know, I know, ANOTHER QB, but still he has a chance to make the team. Although that all depends on if we trade one of the other 3 QB's. We won't keep 4 qb's on the roster.

There are 4 wideouts and 2 DT's, one of those guys have to make it onto the roster. Most of these 17 guys have good size, some are a little undersized, but still, some possible gems. What do you all think of these guys? I would like to hear what everyone thinks of these guys, cause I haven't heard ANYTHING. And go gentle on me, this is my first fanpost.

Adam grant aso make an awesome pancake...

We might have 2-3 we’ll keep. I really like the Fannin pick and he looks good with speed, but had saome ball handling difficulties which can be fix in most cases…

Great Point... my guess 5 or 6 make the team I really like 2 of the RB's and we got them all signed quickly..

I think the new FO wants to build from within not overpay for FA’s . Only time will tell.

As bad as we were

WE will probably keep more than 3. We were really lacking in talent and even though these guys went undrafted, I think they will be better than some of the people we had on the roster at the end of last year.

Because we need both

We need some proven talented players (for me 1 top-tier DT). We need to plug 1 interior DLine and immediate have a big impact to stuff the runs and at least rush the passer fairly.

And we still need some UDFA talents to develop. They need time, some has not a big upside.. some can become an elite.. some can be stud soon.. etc.

UFDA and FA are very different things and any franchise need them both.
