Despite reports from over the weekend that Brodrick Bunkley was traded to the Cleveland Browns, John Elway confirmed on twitter that Bunkley has instead been traded to the Denver Broncos in exchange for an as of yet undisclosed 2013 draft pick.
Bunkley was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 1st round (14th overall) of the 2006 NFL Draft. During his five season run in Philly, he was a starter for three of them. Bunkley likely will bolster the Broncos depth at Defensive Tackle and possibly press for a starting role.
