Osi in Blue & Orange?
Adam Schefter Tweeted: "The #Giants have given Osi Umenyiora's agent permission to work out a trade for the 2-time Pro Bowl DE, sources told Sal Paolantonio"
Can you imagine a DLine with Osi on one side and Elvis on the other? I like Ayers and all...but there is no comparison with Osi. He had 11.5 sacks last year. Over the past 5 years he's AVERAGED 10.4 a year. (11.5 in 2010, 7 in 2009, 13 in 2008, 6 in 2007 and 14.5 in 2006) That's amazing production. He's 6'3", 261 lbs, and he's 29 years old. Fox has said that the DEs are the cornerstones of his Defense. With Osi on one side and Elvis on the other...who do they double team? Especially with Von coming on SLB blitzes? Make it happen EFX!

It could happen dude
No save ammunition all bullets in gun now- Bruce Campbell
Stand up straight a man looks more confident when he is erect- Taj
I don't always drink and drive, but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis- BroncoPH
BRONCOS 4 LIFE
And I could win the lottery
Why would the Broncos give up a 1st round pick to a guy that wants to be paid market value (I have no issue with this) where we need to rebuild and stockpile picks to get better as a team? What have we done in free agency to make you think we would do this?
Already been reported
That no one is going to give them a first.
I say send them Ayers and a 3rd or 2nd.

I'm sure they could figure something out
Why would the Broncos even be looking if they were not already aware of that?

Osi usually playes the same side that Elvis would play...
Quit drinking the Kool-Aid and start drinking the good stuff, and everything is always alright.

Not thanks, I'd rather keep the 1st round pick in case we need it for Luck, Barkley or Jones.
Tim Tebow wears 3WM and drinks Tuscan whole milk.
We are stacked at d end
We don’t need any more. Ayers doom, Harvey, haggan, hunter, the guy we traded gaffney for, veikune, and they say miller might get end snaps
I wouldnt say stacked...
We have a lot of bodies at end..Elvis is the only true NFL talent. Harvey, Haggan, Hunter are all 2nd tier, camp bodies. If the asking price is anything but a 1st rounder…Im all for it. If we can trade Ayers, DJ Williams and a 3rd rounder…Im all in!
Overrated? How can I guy who averages 10+ sacks a year for 5 years be overrated?
There’s no fudging sacks and tackles…you either make em or you don’t. The dude is a beast. It’s not like he’s been playing in the NFC East the past 5 years and seeing the inferior OLs of Cards, Seahawks, Rams and Niners. He’s been getting those numbers against the Cowboys and Eagles. I’m not saying we should send NY a 1st round pick for him…but if a trade could be orchestrated…and a long term deal negotiated…we’d have the DL to be a dominant defensive force in the AFC West for the next 5 years.
lol...relax. Look at the players around him. Justin Tuck, Kiwanuka, these guys are good.
Osi will not play as well wherever he goes. The Giants scheme and depth is very D-line friendly. Actually I would say he isn’t even their most important D-lineman. Anyways, he is a good player, but like I said overrated. People get a this notion that just because somebody does something in one place they can do it in another. The circumstances are different, and I don’t see him as being as successful outside of NY. If this was Julius Peppers however, that would change things. That guy does it all with no help.
they want a 1st
they can keep him. Besides, he’s severely limited: 2009 Thanksgiving, we played them with Josh McD as coach. Our O gameplan? Run the ball at Osi. We killed them even though we were much better.
I’d be hella surprised if anyone gives a first for him unless a 3-4 team thinks they can stand him up. He has value but 1st rounder in a 4-3? No thanks
If you reply to a comment/post/fanshot of mine, I will more likely then not respond to it, unless you come off like a d-bag.
even though *they were much better

I think he's worth a first round pick but the money he would command is a deal breaker, IMO
We don’t need a DE bad enough for that kind of cost in both picks and dollars. We’re already projected (even if only by me) to be one of the premiere pass rushing teams in the league. Paying this guy 12-15M per year on top of the same salary for Doom and on top of the highest-profile pass rusher the Broncos have ever drafted… it’s just too much.
I think Osi is worth a first, but not for us.
I think Bannan isn't coming back, Nate Irving will start at MLB and Tim Tebow starts at QB. Oh, and VonDoom should combine for 20-25 sacks.
I see this scenario just like you
But of course, who wouldn’t like to have 3 elite pass rushers starting!?
Unfortunately, not for us.. not at this moment.
I bleed Orange & Blue.

At least the defense might give us a chance to win.
