Irony out where I live is...
all of the Sports Authorities have gone out of business in the last couple of years. Yet they can afford to buy a stadium? W.T.F. lol?

Unfortunately you cannot be both...

Makes me sick.....
We get that Tebow might not be ready to start yet, but NFLN is still talking about his botched center exchange from preseason week 1 last year!!!!!
Give the kid a break. sheez
Chuck Norris once asked Tim Tebow for advice on martial arts.
Yeah...he got a lot of that from local media back in college.
He says it drove him…let’s hope this drives him too.
Everyone who has been at camp and watched him throw says he has regressed badly and is not even close to being ready to start. We’ll see how he does tonight, but if its true then the best thing for Tebow is to sit another year and go all out in 2012.
Sitting another year doesn’t mean he is a bust – Aaron Rogers and Phillip Rivers both sat on the bench….its about doing what is right for Tebow’s career in the NFL.

@ Tim
as a former athlete, I almost feel insulted for him that people don’t think you can learn something remedial as taking a snap from center!
Chuck Norris once asked Tim Tebow for advice on martial arts.
It's not that...we all just need to exercise patience.
I think he knows how to take a snap from center. He needs time to develop a pocket presence – that will come from practice and repetition – along with some limited playing time throughout the year.
We throw him in as a starter now and I think he’ll regress even further…pocket presence isn’t the same as learning to take a snap from under center. I didn’t feel this way about Tebow a month ago, but the lockout really was a setback for his development.
Learn how to dominate your league through a solid fantasy football value based drafting. A shameless plug for a fellow Broncomaniac!
totally agree about the lockout
he definitely needs more reps. Reps with other competent players however would be ideal. Not the 3’s and 4’s.
Chuck Norris once asked Tim Tebow for advice on martial arts.
I read the opposite (about regression)
Woody Paige in his mailbag said that he struggled early but that “he’s doing better, honestly, every day, and I’d be very surprised if he didn’t play well during the next two exhibitions.”
If you reply to a comment/post/fanshot of mine, I will more likely then not respond to it, unless you come off like a d-bag.

It'll never go away
Everyone still talks about Elway lining up under a guard to take a snap in his 1st year.
"Bombs dropping down overhead. Underground. It's instilled to want to live." -EV
it's dogpile time for sure.
as soon as orton took that first starting team snap at TC, you could practically smell the media vultures flapping in close to tebow. the guy hasn’t done anything—good or bad—and he’s somehow gone from media darling to favorite whipping boy overnight. at least tiger woods had that one big, crazy night that he can always look back on.
funny you mention tiger
I’m watching him online now! still my favorite goler.
Chuck Norris once asked Tim Tebow for advice on martial arts.
Nothing succeeds like success
The media is a fair weather friend….let Tebow start to do well and they will be back fawning.
"There's only one person who carries the ball right here..."
Once
Elway lined up under the tackle, it happens.

More like human trafficking
media and websites are the pimps, Tebow the unwitting victim, and the fans who frequent the sites are the johns

Now we have a beat writer who knows how the coaches should coach . . .
What is he trying to do, take that job away from us armchair coaches?
-
BILLY THOMPSON GOT SHAFTED!!
We are all arm chair coaches....
it only offends when the writer offers a viewpoint that you disagree with. Reality is, none of us knows nothing til the games are played. It’s all opinion right now….opinions are like….you know…and everyone has one.

Yes, the object of my comment was twofold:
(1) Making a point about the beat writer and (2) a little tonguy-in-cheek in the process . . .

I watched every play last season. Tebow was the better QB than Orton. Hands down.
I think the same things will be reveled in the games. Can’t wait to see.
This will be fun
Even if Orton out plays Tebow, this will be fun.
Ok, Von Doom is a way better nickname than what I liked. So cool to be excited about a pass rush in Denver again!
I want to say how awesome a particular Rockies player is and that he will be the MVP, but the last time I mentioned it in my sig he went out with an injury, so, GO PLAYER WHO IS SO AWESOME!
all of this downgrading of tebow
reminded me that last year even tebow’s biggest fan, josh mcdaniels, felt like tebow was so far behind the curve that he didn’t want to play him even after the broncos season was academic. tebow went out and played better than he’d been showing he was capable of at practice and i’d wager this will be true of him for the foreseeable future. kyle better not let timmy see any extended field time.
seriously
I believe what I see not what I read. And I saw Tebow playing like an NFL QB last year. Maybe those games were flukes, maybe Tebow was in the right place at the right time or maybe Tebow is the real deal. Time will tell.

This first pre-season game is a guage and tool for the coaches to evaluate the unknowns,
so I wouldn’t put to much into it other than that. If we lose the game just remeber that the coaches didn’t even gameplan this one, but will be installoing plays to see how player react and perform. Purely and evaluation effort…
I think we lose this one
At Cowboys Stadium. With fans going nuts just for Football! But it is preseason, it could go either way for no reason other than our 3rd string and bubble guys outperform their 3rd string and bubble guys late in the game.

Sports Authority Field huh?
I guess it beats Invesco but it will always be Mile High Stadium to me.

BTW, $6 million a year is peanuts, relatively speaking.
For that can we just forgo the whole corporate naming crap and just call it Mile High Stadium and nothing else?

Probably a hidden part of the CBA that every team has to kick in for Jerry Jones plastic surgery.
Might as well get a corporation to pay for it.

Cowboys blog giving no respect to Von Doom
one guy said Von is this years Vernon Gholston……
Chuck Norris once asked Tim Tebow for advice on martial arts.
also
“after facing Ware in practice, going against Von Doom will be like being on vacation.”
Chuck Norris once asked Tim Tebow for advice on martial arts.
Uh, according to what?
Because a lot of pundits thought Gholston would be what he was and labeled him a high risk pick. And DOOM and Ware are pretty on par with their pass rushing ability.
