He is our young raw QB with loads of potential. He is a great stand up guy, a great football player. A guy who will run through a wall and do whatever it takes, just to win a football game. A guy teammates will follow into battle. A guys whos enthusiasm of the game is contagious. Most importantly he's a Bronco.
Seems like a guy everyone should love or at least admire. And alot do. But theres some, no matter what want to see our QB fail. The question i ask is why?
As Fans we are impatient, and some are easily brainwashed as i call it, by ESPN. I'm one of those guys who always says never believe the news. They're only out to create attention and gain viewers. Thats what they're doing with Tebow. No matter how well he does, they will bash him. Example, tebow went 6-7 for almost 100 yards. Pretty good, considering the circumstances. Yet they bring in Tim Hasselbeck, who shouldnt be bashing QB's anyways, to breakdown tebows 1 incompletion. Who else would they do that for? Also back to Meril Hodges comments about tebow. I dont see him commenting on John Beck, Tavaris Jackson, Charlie Whitehurst, Rex Grossmen, Chad Henne, Alex Smith and others who are at the moment who are equal or worse QB's then tebow. Basically what i'm saying is...The media is out for tebow. Which then causes some fans to believe whatever they heard on the tv or radio and take as 100% fact. We all know those people. It's down right annoying and unfair.
We as fans should give tebow every chance to succeed here. The added pressure we and the media are putting on this guy is unreal. Put yourself in his shoes, remember Tim Tebow is human. He hears all this criticism. He's under the microscope every snap he takes.
If tebow fails in denver. Yeah some of it will be his fault, but a good share will lay on you guys and the media. By you guys, im not singling out people who are critical about tebow. I'm talking about the blindly led haters who hear someones opinion and stick to it. The added pressure we're adding to this guy is ridiculous
I guess all i'm trying to say is. Be reasonable with the guy. He's raw, he's different. He wont be John Elway, he wont be peyton manning. He will be Tim Tebow. Every throw wont look pretty. The mechanics wont look prototypical. But hey who are we to judge on mechanics. If it gets from point A to B thats all that matters. Tim Tebow is a gamer, and is a proven winner. Lets stand behind our bronco through thick and thin.
