Clamor for Orton continues in Miami: Now among Miami Herald Writers
In today's Miami Herald...this is great - it drives his value up should we decide to trade him.
One significant quote from the article:
"The pursuit of Orton, by trade from Denver, should not be stymied by a contractual snag or by Miami balking at giving up a draft pick one round higher than it would like. Nor should the pursuit of Orton be called off because Moore was signed.
This position is too important. If the Dolphins are going to overspend anywhere, let it be at the one position that has haunted the franchise ever since Dan Marino retired."

Its really pathetic
again, I think they’ll come back, and my money’s on after they see Moore and Henne attempt playing QB in their first preseason game. I hope Orton in contrast lights it up in our preseason game so Miami will have no choice
If you reply to a comment/post/fanshot of mine, I will more likely then not respond to it, unless you come off like a d-bag.
The uproar will get louder and will resonate up through the cracks of Miami's training facility, but it still comes down to how they really feel, not the media nor the masses...
Just to clarify:
They inferred that Orton would fill the shoes left by Marino!
Yeah, Cutler did a great job of that with Elway too. LOLOLOL
I dont think they believe that (Orton=Marino)
IMO, they know they have a pretty solid OL, some good RB’s, and a good D. They also have a decent bunch of WR’s, even beyond Bmarsh. They probably believe, as I do, that even a QB like Orton can make them very good, since they have all those pieces. That team just needs a solid QB like Orton and they could contend for the playoffs, and in TC they are learning they don’t have that kind of a QB on their roster

Now I hope Orton doesn't go there
They’re totally overblowing their expectations for him. He will never live up to them.
