Injuries
I read that Chan Gailey announced that the Bills had no serious injuries, which is good news.
Any word on Bruton or Haggan?
Personal relations consist of an uneasy truce between powerful, solitary fantasy systems.

Bruton was released, but sounds like it was a pretty serious knock to the head. I’m guessing he’ll be out awhile.
The only thing I’ve read on Haggan was that it was a shoulder injury, but that he downplayed it.

Interesting how they used primarily body weight exercises without weight training. Good results in reduction of injuries.

Ambition drove many men to become false; to have one thought locked in the breast, another ready on the tongue.
Sallust (a wicked man reformed?)
That was a great read
Considering the amount of grief that Tuten has taken over the groin and Hammy pulls a few years back, I think he’s done a very good job. Coming up with alternative methods to create a healthier team deserves a Nike High Salute.

"We don't condition in practice"
Love that mentality. I’d always been a fan of tons of wind sprints and the like (probably because it’s what was drilled into me every practice of my life growing up), but it seems like that way of thinking is now outdated. The players have plenty of time to keep in shape without wearing themselves down. When they’re on the field, it’s time to focus on football. Refreshing addition to losing two-a-days (another thing I guess is outdated now lol). While it was terribly annoying, it looks like this lockout might have turned out to be a great thing for the game.

Love the no lifting strategy....
These guys are professional athletes. Strong. Muscular. Last thing they need after a long break from contact is breaking down their muscles THEN immediately hittling pads and each other. I’m not a trainer or doctor, but seems like common sense to me. The team looks fresh, energetic, and, most importantly, violent and strong. Love the new mentality and approach. Great work Coach and Tuten!

Reading Tubbs Williamson, you’d think the Raiders won, Denver lost and Tebow got cut. ESPN needs to clean house, not that they will.
Xanders, call Seattle.. Brady Quinn and our 5th rounder for Seattle's 2012 2nd rounder (moves to a 1st if Quinn gets them to the playoffs). Time for some revenge for the Phonz trade.
yep, yep
When he called our running game out it made me wonder if he had watched the game. I’m not saying it was stellar, but both Moreno and McGahee looked far better than their numbers indicate. McGahee in particular, did his job when needed. His stats of six yards on five carries looks ugly but they don’t tell the story. I think he only had two carries where he wasn’t in a third & short or a goal line situation. And he had two TDs.
But again, with porkchop just catching the summary, it’s easy to say our run game was lacking.
OK, so Brian and The Johns really did very well at the Defensive Tackle position, especially considering the limited cash budget they likely had to work with. I no longer hear laughter from opposing RBs in my nightmares!!!
