While many in the media have knighted Kyle Orton as the Broncos best QB, they have failed to note something of keen interest. John Fox called Kyle Orton his starter for 'game 1,' not necessarily his 'starter.'
Perhaps it's a nuance, or a speech impediment, or a brain fart... Call it what you want. I happen to think that Sly Fox choose his words very carefully when naming an 'opening game starter.'
But, this isn't about that really. This post is about what our newly named 'starter' must do and IMPROVE to keep his job. Many make a big deal about what Tim Tebow must improve in order, currently, to even be the 2nd string QB, but let's bear in mind some of the things Kyle Orton must improve to keep his current status as the starter.

I for one will be monitoring Kyle Orton's 'progress' very carefully.
