Do you think that Fox had Tebow face the first team defense so that no speculation or cries for his head could come out of this one practice?

Protecting him in a way from if he wasn’t successful against the 2nd team D? Or Am I just ridiculous, seems like the 2nd D needed reps?

No

the 1st teams nearly always scrimmage with the twos. It’s just the way it is.

Maybe it's a sign of a better defense.

If our D shows up bigtime, then what better to practice against? Learn how to beat the best. We are still very young n this camp. We won’t know what any of these QB’s will do against another D until we see some pre-season games. If our D is as bad as last year, we are in trouble. Our top O can only get 2 FG’s against our #2’s on D? Ouch! Let’s hope that’s asign of how good our D is and now how S#$%y our offense is going to be. Anyone know how the running game looked?
