Jabar Gaffney reflects on selling guns to Kenny McKinley

This will probably show up in Horse Tracks tomorrow and get more attention, but I don't remember hearing Gaffney associated w McKinley's death before this. Maybe I was just tuning out all the bad news at the time? :/

Poor Gaff,

That would be extremely hard to deal with. No fault of his since he had no idea what was to come but it would still be troubling. I hope it isn’t something that haunts him and he is able to not blame himself for any part of it.

I do remember reading something about this but had forgotten the details. I remember something about our friend Tom Brandstater too – he was lending money to Kenny to try and help him through the hard times.

Gaffney shouldn't beat himself up on this.

If he did not sell him the guns then Kenny would have probably found another way to commit suicide.

but this is in no way Gaffneys fault most of america owns guns 99% of criminals own guns guns are almost essential for self defense. Guns dont kill people. People kill people. I want to hear from the people who heard or saw signs that he was suicidal and didnt do anything
