NFL Week 1: Oakland Raiders At Denver Broncos Pre-Game Open Thread

My Bronco brethren. This is the day that we've all had circled on our calendars ever since the NFL released the 2011 schedule. It's Prime Time. Monday Night. The Home opener and it's the Raiders.

This event marks the 20th consecutive season that the Denver Broncos appear on Monday Night Football. It was almost 38 years ago, in the 27th meeting between the two clubs, that the Denver franchise was finally able to elbow it's way on to the MNF stage. That game, against these same Raiders was played on October 22, 1973 at Mile High Stadium. It ended in a 23-23 tie. Tonight is the 106th match-up between the arch-rivals. No matter who starts or who the new faces are on each of these teams, it's the Broncos and the Raiders...and it counts.
