Mcdaniels sabotaged our team
You want to know how a person can damn near destroy a football team in less than 2 years? By drafting these players in order. Knowshon Moreno: decent player but not even close to being worth the 12th pick, Robert Ayers: decent but not even close to being worth the 18th pick, A. Smith: absolutely horrible pick, D. McBath: sucks, R. Quinn: sucks, D. Bruton: sucks ( made a big play tonight however ), Seth Olsen: sucks, K. Mckinely: RIP, Tom Brandstater: sucks, Blake Schleuter: sucks, Demarius Thomas: walking mash unit, Tim Tebow: lost out to Brady Quinn for 2nd string QB (WTF?), Zane Beadles: sucks, J.D Walton: decent I guess ( got abused tonight ), Erik Decker: By far and away the best pick Mcdaniels ever made, Parrish Cox: sucks, Eric Olsen: sucks, Sydquan Thompson: decent I guess, Jammie Kirlew: sucks.
Well their you have it folks, 19 picks and thats what we have to show for it. I have no idea how anyone who was even considered for an NFL head coaching job could possibly mess ( I could have thought of a far more colorful word to use ) up 2 drafts that badly but Mcdaniels most certainly did. EFX has one hell of a mess to clean up here. Thanks Josh for doing your absolute best to destroy are football team.......... Wow, and thats not even counting the Peyton Hillis debacle.

Ouch, that really highlights the challenges EFX are dealing with
I agree, Larsen shouldn’t get any bigger. I am getting tired of his bone crushing hits knocking the pixels off my TV, once they fall to the floor they are very hard to find.
You want to know how someone can damn near destroy a good fanpost in about 2 paragraphs?
By talking pointless regurgitated smack in this order: Bashing his team’s starting running back (who broke a few big plays tonight), bashing his team’s starting defensive end (that created most of the pressure we saw tonight), bashing his team’s second string safety that came in for spot duty and saved a touchdown (and is a ST ace), and by bashing former players (that aren’t even on the team anymore), that few here care to hear their names again, especially the really bad ones.
McDaniels drafted HORRIBLY. We get it. Most of us KNOW it because we are watching the SAME football team. We don’t need to hear yet another rendition of it (and quite a classless and pointless one at that) for like the bazillionth time. You’re giving Trent Dilfer a run for his money at being the most annoying person I’ve listened to tonight.
McDaniels took a bad team and made it worse over the last two years. No shit. It’s not news to us. Move on already and stop crying over spilled milk. This post has absolutely ZERO contribution, new information, or an insightful opinion to give, and is just a pointless rant (that doesn’t even offer any comical value).
So thank you Captain Obvious, the First Revenger for enlightening us.

Amen Alexander!!!
Knowshon (other than the fumble) was a bright spot on a hideous excuse for an offense tonight. The O-Line and Kyle Orton are to blame for this loss. Had we not gone 3 and out 4 bazillion times, the defense would have looked respectable.

Dont misunderstand the post. It wasn’t meant to be a bashing of Moreno. I completely understand the fact that he’s running behind a pathetic offensive line and on many previous comments have defended him because of that. I didn’t have sucks written behind his name if you notice, he’s decent. But decent is all he is right now nothing more and decent didn’t warrant the number 12 pick in the draft. That was my point. I actually like Knowshon, I love the way he plays with passion but the guy simply puts the ball on the rug to damn much. He needs to get ahold of Tiki Barber and learn whatever it was that Barber did to cure him of the same ills.

Isn't the point of these fan posts
to rant and blow off a little steam? I mean really, it is not like the Broncos front office is searching MHR for valuable tips on turning the franchise around…constructive criticism is certainly nice, but sometimes, a little tantrum is in order…One exception I take is that the real mistake was letting a new coach with no experience have so much power in terms of personnel decisions…that was someone else’s mistake, and frankly THAT is why we are in this mess…someone…either the owner or his advisors was lazy…and so we got a predictable result….two years that nearly sank a ship that had been running well for years, even decades before that…and until I see some positve sign that the decisions that are coming out of the Broncos braintrust are intelligent, I will regard them suspiciously…they have earned that distrust with their recent behavior…
I am somewhat heartened to find out that others were as annoyed by Trent Dilfer as I was…I wanted to reach through the TV screen and tie a gag around his mouth…awful…(Richard Seymour is a professional….what?…professional THUG?) and the droning on about the Raiders being a good team…from where I sat I was watching two AWFUL teams vying to decide who sucks less…
Finally, not sure about Knowshon Moreno…do you like him because he’s our guy? Do you really think he played that well? I must have been out of the room when he did…I root hard for him, but he seldom gives me confidence he is going to get it done…
What if you don't know Jack....but Jack knows you?
There are better ways to blow of steam.
And I can understand typing our a rant to vent, but why post it on a public fan-forum. Especially if it really doesn’t do anything but help a single individual ease his own mind, while stirring up the annoyance in the rest of the fanbase’s? It just doesn’t make sense. There are plently of better ways to blow of steam, and plenty of other ways to rant besides regurgitating the past and spend the majority of the post bashing many of our current players (who we’re going to have to live with for the rest of this year, at least).
Knowshon played exactly as I expected him too. He made some big plays out of nothing, and was able to snag some big chunks of yardage behind HORRIBLE blocking (like last year). When our OLine plays like it did tonight, you can’t expect the running back to have a glorious day. Knowshon played well (I REALLY hope he isn’t injured badly) all things considered. I root for him because he is a Bronco, and he’s actually a pretty good player. Is he a #12 overall type good player? No. But I didn’t draft him at #12, so I don’t expect him to play as a #12 overall. I expect him to play the best he can and beat out all the other RBs on our roster – which he has basically done. The people who get disappointed by Moreno are the people that judge him through other peoples eyes. If you just take the kid for what he is, and THEN watch him play. He’s not half bad at all, in fact, he’s pretty explosive for his size, and adds a great dynamic to both the running and passing game (not to mention some AWESOME blocks in pass protection). He’s not the next Terrel Davis, but he’s not some two-bit RB that could be scooped up in FA or off the Waiver Wire either. Just my opinion.
And I wanted to ****ing choke out Trent Dilfer. On our first major play of the game (the punt return by Decker for a TD) what does Dilfer have to say about it? NOTHING. Which I was jazzed about, but then I realize he was so quiet because he was digging through the replay footage to try and find the smallest hold or questionable block and then says “guess you just have to make sure you do those when the ref’s aren’t looking”. What a classless D-bag, and announcing when it was a DENVER home game too. ESPN hates the Broncos, and they don’t even try to hide it.

Mr Wall
One of the things I love about this sight is the few members who believe that they’re the says all and ends all of everything Denver Broncos football. The few who wish that they could dictate who writes what and when but unfortunately can’t. My advice to you would be to read the title of the other members post and decide if you want to read it or not. The title of my post was pretty self explanatory therefore if you didn’t want to go down that road again simply don’t read it. Better yet look who is writing the post and if you don’t care for that persons previous post don’t read it. You’re certainly not going to offend me after all I quit reading the crap you write some time ago. I’m curious if you write replies like this after the 10,000 pointless post on the Tim Tebow Kyle Orton debate. I myself look at the title and choose not to read them, see how that works. You say in a later reply that you’re a jarhead while I would say that your more in line with being a d_ _ k head.

Lol.
This franchise was on the decline LONG before McDaniels got a hold of it. It had already been run into the ground, he just poured water on top and made it muddy. McDaniels tenure wasn’t something to be remembered, but something better forgotten. Remembering it does nothing, forgetting it does a LOT. During the time between pointless posts like this one, I feel a LOT better about the Broncos. When people regurgitate our past history (particularly the draft which has mostly left our roster) and I remember McDaniels reign, I get annoyed, irritated, and slightly depressed. **** that era, and **** these stupid cry-baby posts.

As far as I can tell
You are not forced to read the posts about the topics you feel are regurgitated from past troubles the team has endured. I really think you are missing the point of the Fan Posts…they are a forum— a freedom of speech sort of forum—-and if you are not keen to read about the"past" then you are free to skip to the next one…I for one subsribe to the theory that it is somewhat cathartic, in so far as football fans really require catharsis (though the Broncos of late may actually create the need) to write and then read others statements of frustration or observations about how the team got itself into this mess…and in truth, those that ignore history are doomed to repeat it, or so it has been said…
What if you don't know Jack....but Jack knows you?
He is just a little bit dense is all.
Rahim Moore once climbed Mount Everest, Mount Kilamanjaro, and K-2 using only one bottle of oxygen and a sack of trail mix.
I'm a former Jarhead.
So supposedly their is less matter up there, not more. Dense isn’t the right word for a Marine. And I have nothing against people sharing their opinions or going over past events. But there are much better, clever, entertaining, and insightful ways it could have been done. I came into it thinking it would take a much better angle (as opposed to no angle at all other than just badmouthing everyone the author wanted to blame for today’s loss). So it wasn’t as if I purposely clicked something I knew I would disagree with and then am proceeding to try and rip it apart. The author just made it easy to condemn, that’s all.
Many were offended by the title of my last post using the severity of Cancer as an analogy to impatience for starting Tebow. I didn’t condemn them for disagreeing with me, I just stated why I chose to do that, and those that would disagree were free to and had no qualms from me.
So if you guys want to go and quiet me as you say I am supposedly trying to do to this author, how are you being any different than you claim I am acting? I have nothing against the Author posting, epressing, and ranting about whatever he wants. I just disagree with how he did it, and think it could be corrected (that doesn’t mean it should be completely silenced).
Yet I am the one who has no interest in the past, want to ignore history, and and am doomed to repeat it? Lol. Okay, sure? That is such a stretch. Written words (especially shorthand quick and emotional responses) are a HORRIBLE format for getting a clear message across.

Uh,
dense as in it takes a little bit to get through to you is what I meant. Just from what I’ve observed. Not trying to be a dick or anything, you are just supremely opinionated. But most of us are, so it’s not like I hold it against you or anything.
Rahim Moore once climbed Mount Everest, Mount Kilamanjaro, and K-2 using only one bottle of oxygen and a sack of trail mix.
You're right Jarhead
cut and dry. Short, concise and to the point are not good angles to take when making a point. You know better than that Jarhead because that is the exact method used to train you and your fellow Marines.
I hear so many on this sight talking out of their ass in some ridicules 3000 word essay, spinning this and twisting that. I’d much rather cut the crap and get to the heart of the matter. Trust me there was a lot of crap going on at the MHR when Josh McDaniels was the so called HC/GM.
This post should be highly received.
Your comment about Cancer was mindless, thoughtless and tasteless. You should be ashamed of yourself. I am ashamed for you. Many here are also ashamed for you. In fact “Big Brother” should never have let it hit the fan.

Not sure this has anything to do with football...
OK…I admit it, I am perhaps missing something…this blog and many like it are simply outlets for fan support, dissent and even occasionally information…and in this case, I have no idea what point you are trying to make…you seem to be upset that someone wrote a post ripping the former coach as being irrelevant or irritating, and yet, just as we have freedom of speech in this country, we have the right to IGNORE what is written…don’t let it raise your blood pressure…and somewhere in your missive, there is the undercurrent that YOU wrote a post that was not well received and so you are out there policing other posts, assailing them for their relevance (or lack of it) or whether or not it is old news…I read your Cancer post..and while I personally didn’t agree with the premise or presentation, I still think you have the right to post it…and it is up to me to read, comment or ignore it…you seem to want all of us to get into lockstep behind the team and offer up only constructive criticism,or perhaps constructive support, and the events of last season or the last few years are somehow off limits?…naw, we went through that when drinking the McDaniels kool aid..this team looked ill prepared yesterday, among the worst performances I have ever seen a Bronco team deliver…and that goes back to pre Craig Morton days…from now on, when I see something I don’t like, I am going to say it, and I am going to draw upon my entire history as Bronco fan when making my case…and it will be up to others whether they want to read it or not..and I suggest you play by the same rules or you will be frustrated…and those that condemn posts for drawing upon recent hostory, or connecting the dots from one coach to another, are actually ignoring the trail that got us to this point, and I would argue it is entirely relevant and not at all off topic…

Keep telling yourself that bro...Shanny wasnt perfect but he did so much more for this team
This franchise was never on the decline, after 2008 we were widely recognized as an up and coming team similar to the Texans now.
people need to get over mcdaniels
stop blaming this sh!t on his decision making. one coach cant destroy a franchise and that is what some people are making it seem like. the team lost because of stupid penaltys and turnovers not josh mcdaniels

thanks again
for trading a real qb to chicago. johnny knox is turning into a decent wr for a 5th round pick as well.
Boy, I sure hope this is the mess hall....how's it goin' Eisenhower?
We were back some 12 years with those picks
Agree on all of your points
And I curse him a lot when I remember we passing Orakpo and Clay Matthews to pick Ayers
I bleed Orange & Blue.
Twelve. That sounds about right
I always laugh when I hear folks say that Josh McDaniels set the Broncos back a year or two.
I also have to laugh because a Bronco fan on the other side of the world could see the mistakes but a few so called Bronco fans in Denver (mainly here at the MHR) could not. Maybe it’s a case of being so close to an object that you really can’t make out what it is until you take 10 steps back.
Fabio. Nice work recently. You’ve come a long way in a short time at the MHR. Keep it up.

Thanks for the words KKaos
I also laugh on it too… it’s obvious how bad this coach was for our franchise.
You are right about being too close meaning that you can’t watch it clearly. Many folks suffer from it. But ok, I respect everybody’s opinions even when I disagree with them.
If Clay Matthews were on the field yesterday instead of Ayers, would us win that game? We will never know, but this is something that I think it would make some difference in our benefit. Just 1 example, we could say a dozen here…

Eric Decker was not drafted by Josh McDaniels
It’s impossible. It made too much sense. Someone must have pulled the trigger on ED while Josh McDaniels was in the Water Closet. I’m not even being sarcastic. It’s literally impossible that Josh McDaniels drafted Decker.
