Out with Orton

Call it a knee jerk reaction, call it over-reaction call it anything you want to I don't care at this point.  The time for me being bi-partisian about the Broncos QB controversy ended last night on a rainy Denver night.  Tebow time is now.

Kyle Orton is the number one reason the Broncos are 0-1 today.  Blame the o-line, they made mistakes, Knowshon is still injury prone and can't run between the tackles and the Broncos still can't stop the run. All true but Orton cost us that game in a game we could have stolen despite our errors.  Once again Kyle Ordinary couldn't get it done in the red zone on two of three chances.  So we lost 8 potential points there -8 Broncos.  Orton's interception led to and embarassing 63 yard field goal +3 for the Raiders -3 Broncos.  Orton's pathetic fumble put the nail in the coffin -7 Broncos +7 Raiders.

Broncos -18 Raiders +10

Even if you wan't to question my assesment of how many points the Broncos lost due to his QB play there is no questioning the fact his two turnovers (two of our three turnovers) led directly to 10 Raiders points and thats the Ball Game.

For those who say its only one game, it's not it's 30 games as a Bronco he's 11-19 as the starter.

If Tebow isn't ready then Orton was never ready.  On the plus side our Fantasy football QB won my roommate his game last night.  Orton is excellent in three areas hollow stats, preseason games and practice.  John Fox you wanted a gamer... well he's wearing #15 right next to you on the sideline and waiting for his chance.
