Where do I start? So much of our game just didn't work, we got beat all over the field on both sides of the ball. I saw a lot of the same things from last year but I honestly feel that our D has improved and kept this game much closer than it should have been. After the jump I'll explain why I think we should stay strong.
I'll be comfortable giving Orton 4-5 weeks depending on his performance before making a switch. If things start to click and we head into the bye with some momentum then I'm all for keeping him (Orton) in.
Now, we have to hope that the rest of the team can pull it together. If they can't, I think it will be time for Tebow to pull out that drop-kick.
Bright spots? Not many. Decker looked smooth and our D definitely played much harder this time around. I love the fire from Dawkins, he constantly finishes the play when no one else can or will. Not sure if anyone else noticed the play where he literally took flight in pursuit of Campbell. The man is an animal.
What I really want to impress on Broncomaniacs is patience. There is more to it than you (initially) think, I love the fire but it's really just making things worse. I'm sure Fox was watching the game and I trust he is going to do what is best for the Broncos.
