Leadership vs Masses
I swear if I read, hear or see anything regarding Tim Tebow I'm going to punch my cat in the gut! I jest of course, I don't own a cat. I'm so past last year and excited about the additions on the defensive side of the ball. We're so much improved and we don't even have Ty Warren manning up the middle yet. We've upgraded the coaching staff and it showed last night with the performance of Miller, Moore and Decker.
I've noticed from some of the quotes of OUR players such as Lloyd, Bailey and even Weber (who's new to the NFL altogether). WE disgust our Broncos by our behavior! First game of the season, the month of September is usually the learning of cohesion and establishing concepts, philosophies and endure the occasional loss. Divisions are won in November and December. If Denver were to finish 2-2 in Sep., 2-2 in Oct., 3-1, 2-2 in Nov., and 4-0 in Dec. how silly would the masses feel? I don't have a crystal ball but its why we play the games.
Tebow has shown me a few things such as his ability to ride his celebrity status from his college greatness. Did any of you know he wrote a book? During the lockout I saw him in NYC modeling and marketing his book. Leadership? I'd find it incredible if Tebow stood up to the fans and simply say something in the lines of: "Though I appreciate (ppreciate as he'd say it) the support of Bronco fans, please support the Broncos. We're putting something special here and though I'm working hard this is still my team and like many great players before I have to learn and earn my way. Just know that I'm ready for my opportunity and help this team win games."
Come to think of it, he did something similar but it was at the University of Florida (I'm a Georgia fan-thanks McDaniels)

Before anyone mistaken me for a Tebow supporter
I love my Broncos and the last QB, prior to Elway, that I put before my team was Cutler. Sigh, funny how these three (Orton being the 3rd) are tied to the hip.

WE disgust our Broncos by our behavior!
they can get their disgust in line behind the fans who’ve purchased their mansions for them only to watch them poop their pants on the field for the last five years or so. you want a job that’s not performance based and you don’t get criticized for sucking real bad, go work at applebee’s. (sorry applebee’s, but you do kind of suck. i mean that gently and kindly. and sometimes you do have passable appetizers).

so true
"When Tim Tebow does pushups, he's not pushing himself up, he's pushing the world down."
"Gear down there big shifter This is the "No Bull" review man…" a total Lebowski-esque one liner from Sadaraine, whether he realizes it or not - comedic gold.

Thanks for saying this.
WE disgust our Broncos by our behavior!
....because sometimes your inner cowboy needs to yodel.
Yeah well...
my Broncos players disgusted me with their lousy effort Monday night. This is by no means a Tebow rant either, I feel like we need an entirely new o-line.

You have to be meaner than the raiders
One thing Romo was good for while we had the roids head.
They have always been dirty at the line. We got holding, they got personal fouls. They won.
Go Broncos!

For real?
You have got to be kidding me. We disgust them? Two of the worst home losses to the Raiders in Bronco history in the last two years and we disgust them? An hurry up offense that looks like they just rolled out of bed in the morning and we disgust them? A quarterback who failed at the most critical moments in the game and he does not even take ownership of the loss and we disgust them? Yeah, I guess that is right, we as fans should demand excellence from our players. I mean its not like this is fun for them or they get paid good money. The Broncos have never won anything or had decent players or sold out stadiums, so we should just relax and go back to sleep. /s
Worse home loss?
I present to you the Jaguar playoff game. It was at home. I still argue to this day we could have three SB.

I agree with all the others
And you can’t tell me you actually looked at our schedule and told yourself we would win 13 games this year.
When I look at the schedule I’m seeing about 4-5 wins this year, which is ok. I understand we are re-building and watching our young defense grow and improve. I just don’t want to watch a re-building process involve Kyle the Tin Man Orton.

I thought we could go 7-9
before Monday but now I doubt we win 5. The only team I feel semi confident about beating is the bangles
Memo to NFL players
We don’t owe you anything. You earn our cheers and support by winning, playing well, or at least looking like you give a damn during a loss. Fans can live with mediocrity for only so long before demanding something better.
Mediocrity is like a lollipop: lick it once and you'll suck forever.
Sticking with Kyle Orton is like taking your cousin to the Homecoming Dance - you're openly admitting that you had no other options, and it's guaranteed that nothing is happening after the early dance.
One question
What if Bowlen sold the Broncos and the franchise was moved elsewhere? What then? All we do is purchase a ticket to be a part of something. For others, such as myself, I would have to communicate with co-workers, plan a trip and make arrangements to catch a road game near the east coast (this year will be in Buffalo).
Tired of the tired mantra “they make millions and own mansions”. 90% would be lucky to survive one training camp. The 10% that do make it? 1% would be lucky to play as long as Elway. 100% sure that all will have some form of injury to cope with for the REST of THEIR lives.
I’m excited for some football and I’m getting is some mid-season anti-Orton/Moreno/insert flavor of the week
Say hello to my fast...
I don't fault them for making millions, their mansions, whatever. That's how it is, and I'm just fine with it.
What I’m not fine with is the concept that players can be mad at fans for not blindly cheering a mediocre product. Keep in mind, I’m talking the whole product. I have never heard anyone boo Champ Bailey. I have never heard anyone boo Dawkins, Doom, or the small handful of other players who consistently perform at a level worthy of unconditional support. The problem is that they are a very small portion of an otherwise sub-par team. Worse yet, a sub-par team that isn’t even fun to watch. There have been seasons where the Broncos weren’t an upper-echelon team, yet still made great viewing – giving fans an exciting performance even in defeat. This team – and Orton in particular – do not have that ability.
As for moving the team, the sellout streak has not ended. People are not choosing to abandon the team, and they likely never will. However, they are choosing to show their displeasure with the consistently low quality of play and a good pct of the players. I do not feel this is out of line. It is simply a show of passion from a fan base who wants the best for their team and knows that most of the current roster is not it.

Best for the team or self indulgence?
Its a great point you bring up but I don’t have fun watching Bronco football because of this QB situation. The irony? When Cutler was being rumored to be traded, every swinging fence looked for any excuse to kick his butt out of town and welcomed the whole open competition and best player mantra. This is relative to this season because the QB is the problem.
I just want people to understand that for the first in a long time we have what we’ve been begging of Shanahan: get a defensive mind/guru in there and stay out of there way! If I’m the only one that noticed how improved the defense performed then I don’t know what else to do.
