You just woke up and you are all excited: it is game day. From that moment you have butterflies and energy building up throughout the day until the Broncos players step on the field. You are ready for a good game. You hope they are going to win, but also, you hope for a good game, excitement and outstanding plays. You can recognize great plays even when it is your adversary that makes them. It has to bring you emotions. You need to feel it to the core. A boring win is still a lot of fun, so is a lost if it is a good show, a close game. But when you loose and the game was just terrible, and I mean terrible, you get the feeling you just lost 4 hours of your life...
Are we going to win 16 games? Of course not. Well, technically it's still possible, we could win 15 and a few in the playoffs, but let's face it, we ain't a playoff team right now. But you can still have fun watching the Broncos if they give you emotions and excitement. Fortunately, we have players who can give you that. Hoping that most of our recently injured players are back very soon, we can still enjoy a good show. You can watch Miller and Dumervil crush the quarterback. Champ denying Aaron Rogers 40-yards pass. Or LLoyd jump 3 feet high to catch a pass over two defenders.
And one major reason why you are so fervent about the QB issue is because you prefer to see the QB scramble trying to get a first down then just throwing another incomplete pass on the sideline. Don't take me wrong, I have a Orton's jersey and I wore it every game he started. I even showed up to Mile High with the number 8 on my back because he was giving us the est chance to win. I was told no one supports Orton, but I didn't care, I was going to support our QB no matter what. But it is over for me. I am done. If Orton still gives you excitement and joy, I'm very happy for you. My enthusiasm for him ended on a sad MNF game not so long ago when I didn't see his emotion (yet again) and he didn't give me any either. I took my #8 jersey off after the "fumble" and I'm done with it. If we are not gonna win games, you and I should at least expect a good show and for that reason, we want Tebow.
We may not win that many more games with him, if any. Especially without a coach that can play his strength. One that is willing to push the limit of football and try new things. And since EFX are not going anywhere anytime soon, we shouldn't expect to many changes in the playbook. But what you can ask and hope for is a good show. So I say: KEEP ARGUING AND SCREAMING FANS! KEEP MAKING NEW POSTS AND BUYING BILLBOARDS! WE WILL BE HEARD! WE WANT A GOOD SHOW! WE WANT TEBOW!
