Julius Thomas, Eddie Royal out at least two weeks
Broncos WR Eddie Royal is expected to be out two to four weeks with a strained groin and TE Julius Thomas will also be out at least two weeks because of a high ankle sprain.

yea but
they have actual good players, unlike the Broncos.
The Broncos have good players too
its just the coaching staff can’t see that until they play for another team!

They are day to day

Eron Riley and D’Andre Goodwin might need to both be activated
or we can go after a veteran like Laurent Robinson, Mardy Gilyard, or dare I say Terrel Owens.

I think Laurent Robinson would be great

With Coach Zorro on our side, we will slice opponents to ribbons. Tim Tebow gives me hope and I already have faith and charity in my heart! I see a propitious future rife with Lombardis for our Broncos!

TO over Riley
at least with TO you know plays will be made.
Riley had one good game in the 4th against 3rd and 4th string DB’s.

Two of our best players out for up to a month a no problem?
I don’t understand the logic here at MHR. The worse the team does the better?
Royal was reported yesterday as 5-8 weeks...Strained means torn groin...No healy fast comprende...
high ankle strain is bad as well, I see Thomas out 4-6 weeks minimum…That means we are short a WR and TE plus who knows about Moreno? I getting sick as hell with his fragile ass…
at what point do players who are going to miss 4-6 games put on the IR...
… just so there can be a serviceable lineup. Is it better to activate Riley or Goodwin over waiting for Royal to recover because the season might be for all intents over by the time Royal comes back. Same question for any of the guys that are chronically injured taking up a roster spot.
Wonder if the Jags would give up a late round pick for Quinn so that we could go with just 2 qb’s…
Maya: "What are your first impressions of Denver?"
Mozgov: "I must break you..."
I don't think the Jags would want Quinn, or should want Quinn.
They are like the Broncos, they already have a young QB they should be starting instead of someone who isn’t going to be the answer long term.
Maybe the Colts then, or even the Chiefs....
…. there are some teams with some sh!tty qbs

Mozgov: "I must break you..."
Once a player goes on IR, he is done for the season.
It isn’t like the 15 day disabled list in Baseball. (I think you knew that). If Riley or Goodwin gets activated, who are you going to cut from the roster. The Inactive List is already full.

I think if they had to cut someone it would probably be a lineman. Mitch Unrein, or maybe even Manny Ramirez. Ramirez looked terrible int he preaseaon, and I’m pretty sure the Broncos could sign someone off the street at any time to replace him if the need arose.

Unfortunately for the borderline guys in the NFL,
this is a weekly occurrence.

Well
the Giants are just like us, they lose a divisional game Week 1, they win an emotionally charged game in Week 2 against an inter-division opponent and are banged up. They aren’t crying and neither should we, next man up, let’s hope Champ and Doom are ready and let’s beat the Titans

Look on the bright side
All our injured players (except Warren) will be back in time for the stretch drive.

You and your logic
I’m hoping that our depth can get us to a point that the stretch drive amounts to more than pecking order on the draft board.
Go Broncos!

Sorry but injuries aren’t unique to the Broncos. The giants have a bunch on I R

That's true
if the Giants can compete against the Eagles, we can compete against the Titans. No quitting in the NFL, unless you’re the Rams on 4th and 28, we’re down 28-16, let’s punt and let the Giants run out the clock…. I think Sam Bradford’s a great signal-caller and Spags is a good coach, but that is cowardice.
