Denver Broncos Rule Out DE Elvis Dumervil for Sunday

When the Denver Broncos travel to Tennessee for their game against the Titans on Sunday, they will be leaving former Pro Bowl defensive end Elvis Dumervil in the Mile High City.

Dumervil injured his shoulder in the Broncos' season opening loss to the Oakland Raiders, and missed last week. He has been limited in practice this week but was ruled out by the team on Friday.

The absence of Dumervil leaves a hole in the Broncos' defensive line, and last week there was evidence of that as Andy Dalton basically had his way with the Denver secondary. With Dumervil out, the Broncos have to hope they can get significant contributions from Jason Hunter and Robert Ayers.
