Goaline woes

As much as I am drinking the Tim Tebow kool-aid (and copious amounts of homebrew) on game day, I still think uninspiring noodle arm Orton can drive the offense better than Tebow can at this stage of his development...until we get into the red zone.

1st and goal at the Titans 2 and we can't get it in.  I had to take a long trip to the kegerator to get over that goal line debacle.  Why Tebow doesn't come in for this situation is beyond me.  Guaranteed six points.  Put Tebow in shotgun with McGahee and Larsen on either side.  Tebow makes the read, whether it be a handoff or a keeper.  Instead of wasting a down on Orton botching a fade or bootleg, give Tebow four chances to pound it in.

Orton is only going to score14-17 points on his own.  The last two games I have seen the stat that Orton has scored 53 redzone TD's with only 3 INT's over his career.  That stat has to be made up.  I know it is not, but if you average it out over his career, that isn't too many times in the red zone.  It implies he averages a trip to the red zone every other game? Orton should drive us between the 20's,  maybe down to the 10, and then it should become Tebow time.  Maybe we will score more than 17 points a game.  Go Broncos!
