On to GB...and why we will win

It's already Tuesday in Denver and I am done crying over spilt milk and ready for Week 4, and here's why...

-First off, this post sadly has nothing to do with the picture I chose above because it probably would be a pretty awesome tale. But Plummer's beard beats Roger's beard so that has to be worth a FG at minimum...also Plummer kinda looks like Geico Caveman guy that is currently next to my post...

-the Broncos are 15-10 all-time versus defending Super Bowl Champions in the regular season, an NFL best. Of course those games weren't played by a Broncos team coming off a 4-12 season, but shut up for a second...and continue drinking the Kool-aid I offer...

-The Raiders and Titans tried to hand the Broncos football games via crucial penalties...but when it came down to it, the Broncos were unable to capitalize. Great teams win games like that when they are outplayed but given opportunites to steal the game. Good teams actually have the opportunity to steal games when they play badly, we are a good team. I expect a crisp, loose team on the field Sunday. One benefit to a second road game in a row is the Broncos should have no jet-lag issues to deal with this week.

-The Packers came off a big road win against a division rival and with a Broncos team that is 6-213 in their last 219 games with...oh wait, just seems like it's that bad. Anyhow, point is the Packers may very well overlook the Broncos this week...just as the Jets may have underestimated the Raiders as they looked ahead to the Ravens.

-Knowshon Moreno will play and will be huge this week in the screen game. The Packers will be bringing the house against Orton and our QB may have figured out his "tell" in the screen game and might be able to pull off a few bluffs against the Dom Capers blitz packages with some well timed screens to Moreno. Expect to see at least 50 yards receiving from Moreno this week.

-Champ Bailey will also play and I see Dennis Allen matching him up often with Jermichael Finley. The guy is a beast and probably the best receiver on the Packers right now.

-Elvis better be back in the building. The fast pressure that Dumervil and Miller can cause will force Rogers into quick decisions and he may look Bailey's way in the slot. I see a big time Champ pick in this game.

-GB running backs in my opinion(I am too lazy to go looking for precise stats) put the ball on the ground. Starks definitely did last week and Broncos LBs lead by Mays and Woodyard have been laying the wood and the law of averages says the Broncos are well overdue for some forced fumbles. We got two last week, but Einstein or whoever it was says that we are due about 16.7 forced fumbles on Sunday. I'll be happy with two more.

-Matthew Willis is going to step up Sunday in the passing game. I think Lloyd and Decker may have trouble getting open consistently on the money down with Woodson and friends covering them. This leaves Willis and Willis is ready for a breakout game.

-Spencer Larsen will be a goalline beast if needed. He has shown very capable hands and McCoy will learn from his previous errors of trying the same thing repeatedly(Football, caveman ego thing...my guys stronger than your guys, der, der, der). Maybe a play-action pass to Larsen is in the mix.

- Mike McCoy in Monday's meeting: "Der, der, der, der, der...we will pound the ball in or we will throw the ball away and kick field goals. Oh wait, we are playing the defending champs this week, can't settle for FGs...hmmm...I know what, maybe coach Fox will let me bring in that bull of a man on the sidelines for goal line situations who's always wearing a Marshall jersey. What's that you say??? He's actually on the roster??? Holy hell, that's Tim Tebow???(spits out coffee all over John Elway's plaid sport coat)I thought he was just a huge fan that had sideline passes to the game each week!!!"

So these are the reasons why the Denver Broncos are going to go into Lambeau Field... pimp-slap Aaron Rodgers in the face, take his girlfriend, and her girlfriend, and leave Green Bay with a 38-34 win...

-knoepke84 after writing all of this: "agghhhh crap, I totally forgot Neckbeard is still our QB...all bets are off!!!"
