Too be completely honest. This matchup scares the living you know what out of me. He has been shakey against some decent defenses so far. But come Sunday afternoon our offense will be facing one of the best defenses at getting after the passer and bringing the heat.
I fully expect them to put 8 men in the box to take away our run and let Kyle Orton beat them. They will be Blitzing, we all know how Orton is under pressure. He panics. Clay Mathews will probably line up against rookie Orlando Franklin, which probably doesnt bode well for Ortons health. Oh yeah they have a big bad man named BJ Ragi in the middle of their D. Beadles, Walton, and Kuper need to play great to stop him.
I'd say work the screen game, but if an announcer from the 6th Team of a CBS Broadcast crew can call out Kyle Orton on his drop back on a screen game, Don Capers one of the better DC's in the NFL surely will see this too.
To make matters worse, the Packers have 3 pretty damn good corners. Charles Woodson is one of the best, Tramon Williams is pretty good too. Sam Sheilds who had a heck of a post-season will also be out there. We all know Orton likes to lock onto one or 2 guys a game, so that worries me even more, plus add on the added pressure they surely will bring...Im sorry guys, things don't look good for us this weekend.
Orton is missing MCD. Our offense has been pretty anemic the first 3 weeks, and sadly i don't see this weekend to go any better. Lets hope he find's his inner Tom Brady, or hope Green Bay over-looks us. They have been picked apart by Drew Brees and Cam Newton, though both QB's are better then Orton, but their secondary has shown that they can picked apart. So lets hope and pray Orton survives and comes through with a win.
If it's ugly, expect the boo-birds and Tebow chants to be nice and loud come Week 5 against the dolts.
