2012 Denver Broncos Game Day Threads

NFL Pro Bowl Open Thread

Greetings, Broncos fans. Today is the NFL Pro Bowl, your last chance to see some Broncos players for about 6 months.

NFC Divisional Open Thread: Seahawks at Falcons

Right now, the Seahawks will take on the Atlanta Falcons. I think this match up is a whole lot better if Chris Clemons doesn't get injured, but with the Seahawks defense missing their key pass rusher, they'll rely much more heavily on Russell Wilson.

4th Quarter Open Thread: Ravens at Broncos

It has been a game ruled by the refs, but it certainly didn't hurt that Trindon Holliday put up 2 touchdowns on special teams. We go into the 4th quarter tied at 28.

3rd Quarter Open Thread: Ravens at Broncos

Concern is starting to loom as Champ Bailey allows yet another deep ball touchdown to Torrey Smith. Smith now has 2 receptions for 91 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Broncos must find an answer for Smith in the second half.

2nd Quarter Open Thread: Ravens at Broncos

Trindon Holliday started things off with a 90 yard punt return touchdown and then the Broncos got burned deep for a 59 yard bomb to Torrey Smith before Peyton Manning even took a snap. This is quite a battle, thus far.

AFC Divisional Open Thread: Ravens at Broncos

This is what we've all been waiting for. Peyton Manning in a playoff game as a Denver Bronco. Set your DVR, folks. This will be a fun day.

GameThread

Sunday Night Open Thread: Cowboys at Redskins

The Broncos locked up the number 1 seed in the AFC, so let's continue the celebration and watch our former head coach lead his rookie QB against "America's Team".

Final: Chiefs 3 - Broncos 38

The Denver Broncos locked up homefield advantage throughout the playoffs. There's a lot to celebrate.

4th Quarter Open Thread: Chiefs at Broncos

The Denver Broncos are having their way with the Chiefs, thus far. I think we may even see Brock Osweiler attempt a pass in this quarter. That's just my opinion, of course.

3rd Quarter Open Thread: Chiefs at Broncos

The Broncos still lead going into halftime. Folks, this is one heck of a football team.

2nd Quarter Open Thread: Chiefs at Broncos

The Broncos fumbled on their last drive and the Chiefs are within the redzone. The Broncos lead, for now.

GameThread

Open Thread: Kansas City Chiefs at Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos look to finish out the regular season with a win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Doing so would mean that the Broncos would have a first round bye in the playoffs.

Open Thread: NFL Week 17 Early Games

It's the final week of the regular season and the Broncos need to win and have the Texans lose in order to lock up home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Final: Cleveland Browns 12 - Denver Broncos 34

The Denver Broncos win, leaving them with just one game left in the regular season. A win next week and a Houston loss will give the Broncos homefield advantage throughout the playoffs.

4th Quarter Open Thread: Browns at Broncos

The Broncos are driving once again as the 4th quarter starts. They lead 21-6.

3rd Quarter Open Thread: Browns at Broncos

The Denver Broncos end the first half with a Peyton Manning endzone interception, but still lead 14-3.

2nd Quarter Open Thread: Browns at Broncos

The Denver Broncos take an early lead.

GameThread

Open Thread: Cleveland Browns at Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos can clinch a bye week for the first round of the AFC playoffs with a win over the Cleveland Browns and a Patriots loss today against the Jaguars. More likely, the Broncos will clinch the bye with a win today against the Browns and

Saturday Night Open Thread: Falcons at Lions

Tonight, the Atlanta Falcons face the Detroit Lions in a match up that doesn't really affect playoff seeding, in any way.

GameThread

Monday Night Open Thread: Jets at Titans

Surprisingly, the New York Jets are still in contention for a playoff spot. It's a convoluted mess in the AFC North, but between the Ravens, Bengals, and Steelers, the Jets will be able to predict their future.

GameThread

Sunday Night Open Thread: 49ers at Patriots

If the Patriots lose, the Broncos control their own destiny for the second seed in the AFC, ensuring them a first round bye.

Final: Denver Broncos 34 - Baltimore Ravens 17

The Denver Broncos scored early and often, vaulting them to an 11-3 record.

Broncos at Ravens: 4th Quarter Open Thread

After an Eric Decker touchdown, the Broncos lead 31-3 heading into the 4th quarter.
