Harrison yesterday, because of the fact that he's been fined so often, really had no other option. ... I don't think he intended to hurt Eric. But obviously because of the situations he's been in, he had to go low and stay away from the head. And it ended up costing an MCL sprain for Eric.

Regardless, when you go after someone's knee's like that

it’s a dirty shot and can be career ending for someone. I don’t think Harrison INTENDED to hit him that way, I think he intended to trip him up like most smaller DB’s do on a Running Back.

But a LARGE man taking out the knee’s of a small wideout is ridiculous!

As I've often said

Harrison’s previous deeds will prove to cut himself off from the NFL fraternity as soon as he retires, or perhaps even sooner. I believe that if his Steelers teammates are away from the team facility, they openly cannot stand him. His comments about Commissioner Goodell during the lockout were especially distasteful, you should never talk about authorities in your respective field that way.

Harrison could learn a thing or two from DJ

DJ laid a beautiful hard clean hit on a receiver with his shoulder that seperated the man from the ball. Even the refs got it right picking up the flag after discussing it.

there is some truth to that

but again that goes back to my previous comments of he saying all that crap about Goodell, that was a really stupid thing to do. Perception is reality, my parents always told me when I was young, and they still do when we talk, but this explains why Harrison would be “blackballed.”

The thing is......

The thing is Harrison as well as many in the league don’t tackle!
Throwing your body at someone, at the knees, is not tackling! Out of all the stupid rule changes to protect the QB, why don’t they address this. There is know reason Harrison couldn’t have used his arms instead of his massive body. Harrison is almost twice the size of Eric.
