This post will be short and sweet but one name that no one is talking abot after the awesome Bronco victory is Rafael Bush. He wears #36, and he playd a huge part in Denver's win. During the Steelers first two scoring drives they completed two passes to their tight end #83 (Miller) I think. After that the Broncos played with 6 defensive backs a dime package they had not used much this year at all. Rafael Bush covered he tight end man to man the rest of the game and he was not heard from again. This may not of been as big a factor as I think it was but it could bee even more important next week. I will explain why after the jump.
Who killed the Broncos in the first meeting this year with NE? That's right the TE's specifically Hernandez. You see up to this point in the season the Broncos have only had 3 DB's who could cover. Bailey(a given), Goodman, and Harris. Teams with more than 3 weapons have been able to find the weak link and pick on the Broncos. From what I saw last week we just found a forth cover guy. So look for these match-ups on Saturday. Champ on Welker, Goodman on the #2 wide out (Ocho Cinco) Harris on Gronk and now Bush on Hernandez this allow Carter to play Free which he does well.
