Bronco Game Day Party Invite...

Coming to you LIVE in HD. Sunday 12pm 15th January 2012. Denver Broncos v NE Patriots.

This is an open invitation to anyone that is living/visiting/stuck in Sydney and would like to watch the game with fellow Bronco fans.

I did one of these invitations a few years ago at the beginning of the season and had people rocking up at 4am drinking beer and wanting to stay all day. The Monday night games were worse, thay wanted to spend the night. After a very painful divorce, I have a new wife and thought, why not...let's try again. Only joking.

I have been doing alot of FB with my mates back in Denver this week and will be Skypeing friends and relos throughout the game. If you can handle that then come for "The Ride".

Just to let you guys in the States know, Australians and with some of my friends The Denver Broncos have gone from being a Homer Simpson joke/skit "Not the Denver Broncos" to making the Sports section of the newspaper. The NFL never makes the paper.

One of my customers who lives 5 and a half hours northwest of Sydney - the sticks - as we call it, called me on Monday arvo and said you must be happy mate, he had herd of our win thru Twitter ala D Wayde, LeBron...Lady "ijust want to win a MF game" GaGa of all people.

I have been totally consumed this week with my Broncos news and as I said to myself last week, if we lose, the season has still been a success. I always give it three years before I raise my expectations.

My favourite rugby league team won this year and I have always wanted to place a bet on the double and never have and probably never will. I expect "Manly" to win and in two years I will expect the Broncos to bring back past glories.

I'm a hard fan, if the Broncos lo...I can't say it. There will be an empty feeling in the pit of my stomach. However,i won't shut out the world as I have in recent years when my Manly lost the big dance. So for now i can sit back and watch and listen to all the naysayers acknowledge that The Denver Broncos are back baby...and as I BEL15VE are here to stay.

A couple of thank you's, first and foremost i would like to thank "The Guru JB" for a godsend of a website. It fills voids that for years thought would never be filled. It educates and enhances my Bronco passion. To all the people here at MHR that post and comment, your posts make me laugh and cry and get angry and say why. To J McD thank you for your drafts, didn't like you from afar when you upset the gunslinger, but maybe you were the mad scientist. Remember folks i get my info from you.

Never got to see TT in college as we didn't get much of that here at that time. I herd about this "The Promise" speech and checked it out...that was enough for me. Deep down in your gut it screams, "this guy is a winner".

In closing. The word INSTANT has become the definition of our existence. Even a few years ago people could wait and be slightly patient. However, now it seems that if it isn't ready when we want it to be, or at the touch of your finger, then it is a failure. Food, communications, love, respect, appreciation, technology, even heroism need i say SPORT. We as a human race need to slow down and quit with the expectations. Stop and smell the roses, enjoy the moment.

I for one will be enjoying the moment come Sunday/Saturday. The Broncos have had a GREAT season and I look forward to more. Thanks again to all of you that make MY Bronco season enjoyable. Thank you Broncos and thank you NFL for hosting this game on my Birthday. Its about bloody time you answered my text.
