What's going on with Lonnie Paxton?
Strange to be listed as “Out” due to personal reasons

Yeah and from what I've heard about him, has to be something really serious to miss a big game like this
I wish him the best. Sad, whatever it is.

Well not our job literally. I mean, I'm just gonna be sitting on the couch and yelling occasionally. ;)
But I know what you mean!

Wow Belichick...
cool injury report. Is Wes Welker REALLY questionable? Ya didnt think so
I said it last time...
Bill Belichek will list players as Questionable if they display symptoms like “breathing” or “unable to calculate complex differential equations in his head”.
His name was Nick Bloomfield.

Welker
was taking some Vitamin C to get his fruit levels up and Belichick thought this was a “questionable,” move, get it…. #lame

I don’t know how the entire NFL puts out respectable injury reports, and Belicheck is allowed to get away with this.

by Greg Bedard – Three Patriots questionable for Saturday’s game
The Patriots have 13 players listed on the injury report as questionable for Saturday night’s game against the Broncos, but the only players truly questionable are RT Sebastian Vollmer (ankle), LG Logan Mankins (knee) and S Patrick Chung (knee).
Management needs to earn my faith, the past has taught me too much.
Respectable injury reports? The NFL created injury reports to dissuade gambling scandals and not for any sort of competitive balance reasons. Belichick has also been on record saying that certain teams have used information gleaned from injury reports to target injured Patriots players (I am looking at you Oakland).

If that’s the case for why they were created, how does this report fulfill that requirement?
Every other NFL team I’ve seen lists players with real injuries and gives a reasonable estimation of their availability at gametime. Belicheck does this.

To my knowledge, Belichick has never been sanctioned by the NFL for his injury reports. Here is an interesting article from 2006 about Belichick’s injury report shenanigans (I remember that game against the Colts where 39 players were listed on the list from both teams) – http://www.nytimes.com/2006/11/09/sports/09iht-nfl.3461396.html

Better news: Jeff Fisher to coach the Rams.
Which means Dennis Allen should be back next year, barring any big surprises. Whew!

That is the best news I read all day, I feel like Dennis could be Fox’s replacement if he retires. Our success so far this year seems to be directly related to coaching. I mean the turn around with our defense has been stunning. I feel we just need some consistency on defense for this team to truly take the next step, DC has been the hottest seat in Colorado for way too long.

let's hope Fox
sticks with it for a couple of years, we’ve got a good thing going

I could not disagree more
Fox has the most moronic, overly-conservative sense of intuition I’ve ever seen.
Seriously?
Would you rather have McD back? Some fans have such a short memory

getting our starters back healthy
could actually play a big role in that also ;)

Good point, I did not mean to discount the likes of Von Miller and the return of Doom, but the coaches switched us back to 4-3 which seems to fit our players better, the whole defense looks like it is responding.

I was thinking more aong the lines
of Warren, Vickerson, Vaugn, and Thompson :) Next season we are going to have to make some tough decisions :)

Just saw that!
Great news. Need to keep DC Allen for a while, get some continuity on defense for a change.
One question
Who will replace Paxton as the LS?

From a DP article
Kuper’s backup Russ Hochstein is considered the likely player for the job Saturday night. Hochstein has played guard, center, fullback and lined up as an extra tight end in his career. He was the Patriots’ backup long snapper when he played for New England.

Just saw a tweet from the Broncos
That LS David Binn was signed, so I guess he will be Paxton’s replacement

will miss decker's downfield blocking!
by FanSinceTheDonHornEra on Jan 13, 2012 6:18 PM MST reply actions
Willis is equally as good at the downfield blocking
I saw some impressive blocks from M. Willis in the game on Sunday. He completely pissed Farrior off on Tebow’s TD, because he sealed him off the play so well. Blocking won’t be an issue.
Add that to the fact that there is little film on Willis running routes. I see us running a route that is disguised to go to DT or Royal (maybe even play-action) that we actually go over the top to Willis. He was open for a deep ball against the Steelers and Tebow missed him. I’m guessing they saw that in the film study this week. Hit them where they aren’t looking.
i hope we get jeff demps in the draft
tebow and demps are gonna take off if they are together
