Or is this the longest Friday in the history of Fridays?

It's been a long time since I've been so excited about a Saturday game! Jump with me and let's get pumped!

They said Tebow couldn't throw.

They said Demaryius couldn't catch.

They said the line couldn't block.

They said McGahee was too old.

They said Champ was too old.

They said Fox lost his grip with the Panthers.

They said Denver fans were fickle.

Here we are now. Poised to beat the Patriots and advance to the AFC championship.

Does anyone ever question what we have seen?

What are these misfits called the Denver Broncos doing in the 2011 playoffs? Last year we were 4-12, had no Head Coach, had nothing to build on, a 2010 wasted 1st round pick in Tim Tebow, another in DT, gave away our future to draft a fullback at QB, no D-Line, a All Pro Left Tackle losing his ability to block, no hope, no answers just a lot of questions, the 2nd pick in the draft for the first time in history, and a Front Office looking for John Elway to ride in and fix everything. How can Denver win any games at all with a QB that is more fullback than anything, no way in hell he can ever play QB in this league, and He is the worst QB in the last 15 years! A Wideout that can’t stay on the field a bust. We traded away our only legit playmaker on Offense for a 5th round pick which might be one of the worst trades in history. A secondary led by 30+ year olds who have lost a step and can’t be depended on! Denver drafted an OLB with the second pick who is better suited for a 3-4 system plus he is too small to compete every down in the NFL. Denver doesn’t draft a D tackle in one of the deepest drafts in years. Denver doesn’t deserve to be in the playoffs they went in from the back door on a 3 game losing streak! Denver can’t score, Denver can’t stop the run, Denver can’t do this, Denver can’t do that, and Denver just can’t. *Now fast forward a year and Denver is 24 hours away from playing in the AFC Divisional round of the NFL Playoffs so to everyone who called themselves "experts" at the beginning of the season and wrote Denver off we’d like to say Thanks because without you saying we can’t we couldn’t! I’m sure I speak for all BRONCO fans when I say p’preciate that! Now wait until we really start to show the world who we are! It starts in Foxbourgh, then Baltimore or Texas on our way to Indy! Well experts since most of you are already in position-Grab your ears and pull your heads out of your rears.

Yes I agree with you H-Bizzle and tomorrow is going to be even worse.

I have to wait till midnight GMT before the game kicks off.

So a diet of intense computer games to distract me throughout the day and then hopefully a fun to watch NFC game to occupy my time till kickoff in Boston. My Xmas bottle of Jack Daniels may also have to be broken into.

And I want a win bad. Forget our start of season expectations. As Horvil Tiki might have said:

“I unaccept the possibilty of defeat”

What would Blackie Lawless do? Well he'd probably wait till after the playoffs are over before speculating as to what happens in the offseason....

That's why I plan...

…to get smashed tonight. I’ll tie one on. Sleep ‘til noon. Wake up and Interpret some incredibly complex data sets that would make most mortals’ heads spin. Then, I’ll perform some overly elaborate rituals, summon and subsequently consult with some extradimensional beings, who may or may not have humanity’s best interests in mind. After that, I’ll make some recommendations that will shape the next generation’s future (to doom or not to doom?).

Then, just as I’m sobering up, I’ll tune into the game and get drunk…again.

Somewhere in there, I might Tebow as well, while naked, perched in my atrium that overlooks the beautiful city of Denver. I also may laugh or cackle.

It’s going to be a loooong day.
