Around SBN: Eden Hazard In London For Medical, According To Reports

Advantage: Denver

I think the NFL gave the Broncos a real chance in Foxboro by scheduling this as a night game. Denver has always struggled with day games on the East Coast. It is the only time I refuse to bet on them, no matter what the spread is.

Star-divide

Of course it was done for ratings purposes, but this is a real boost for Denver biological clocks and perhaps a bit of a drain on Patriot vitality. Also, I think the key Denver player is not Tim Tebow but Willis McGahee. If he is healthy and effective, New England is doomed. If he is not effective, Denver will lose. Denver needs to bring the misdirection game as well. The Patriots will have to play a rigidly disciplined game where everyone sticks slavishly to their assignments. This leaves them open to gadgetry.

I am more curious to see how the negative wind chill affects Tebow’s spinning duck shot put passes.

I'd worry more about Brady's shoulder

That bad boy has taken up to a half to loosen up for the past 3 weeks. In 9 degree weather it may never loosen up.

We can run no matter what. But if NE can’t throw effectively they’re going to get spanked.

I understand that fan comes from the word fanatical but you have to be smoking the Colorado Red Rock if you think his shoulder is going to be an issue this game.

Just watched how he performed the last 3 games

He looked lost with his follow through in all of the slow starts at the end of the year. He even said, it sometime took a quarter or two to loosen it up. He’s not superman. At 9 degrees, getting it warm takes on a whole new meaning. Especially if he’s on the sidelines watching.

"spinning duck shot put passes"

Classy!! Keep the hate coming. Love it. The 80 yard pass was a really nice spinning duck!

The only time you should be looking down on someone is if you are trying to help them up, unless you are Von Miller!

I have been a football fan for as many years as I have cogent memories

And played football in the northern middle west where there were games that 9 degrees would have been a major improvement and one thing always seemed to come to fruition during those games.

The teams that ran the ball best nearly always won. Partially because the cold effects the ball, how it is released, how it is caught and how it flies, but mostly because the team that runs the ball is on the field keeping the heart pumping and the body warm while the other team sits on the sidelines. I can tell you from experience little injuries that don’t seem to be a real issue, man they get tight and painful when you play in the effing cold.

This is Sammy Davis Jr. Jr. She is my grandfathers seeing eye bitch. She is also deranged.

I played in that weather too, and completely agree!

I was a WR/kick returner, and when you were in that 7 degree kickoff weather it changed what you would call. Slants, screens, hitches, but nothing deep down the field unless a receiver was all alone.

Factor into that Brady’s tendinitis issue, which clearly impacts him early in games, and you’ve got a recipe for best running game wins. You make him sit on the sideline and wait to loosen that arm up and it will only be worse for the Pats.

Nah. Patriots could certainly lose and it should be a good game. I dont fear the Denver Cinderallas, but I think New England would get rocked if they were fortunate enough to play New Orleans, or Green Bay.

And we don't fear you.

See we got nothing to lose. We’re not supposed to win.

House Money is a dangerous beast

We aren’t supposed to be here, so what do we have to lose? Bring it!!

by shasta77 on Jan 13, 2012 10:21 PM MST up reply actions

The 3 turnovers in the 2nd qtr killed us last meeting.

Jerimiah Johnson had a couple of nice carries after McGahee went down and McCoy changed gears because the running game stalled a couple of times. Keep the throttle to the floor and don’t let up. Brady and his bunch sure as hell won’t…

Win, lose or draw, we are the Denver Broncos! 13-3 Baby!!! Until we ain't!

Tebow Timex

Just like the great American watch of years gone by, Tebow is a Timex…Takes a lickin’ and keeps on tickin’. We run on time, every time and we beat the Pats. Go Broncos.
