Hello, Mile High Nation, and Good Luck from a Steelers fan
I jumped on today to share a story I thought amuse you about what might be another Tebow miracle! I'm currently in France for several weeks, and my command of the language is not impressive. Yesterday's "Le Monde" (main Paris newspaper) had a long article about Tim Tebow, and I was able to read the whole thing, without resorting to a dictionary! (It does help when you know more or less what it is likely to say : ) Seriously, it was a good article - it explained the "Tebow phenomenon" to the presumably bemused French public, without (as far as I could tell) sounding either patronizing or ironic. (But then, as I said, my command of the language is not extensive.) I loved that the writer explained that the correct pronunciation of the name was "Thibault."
Anyhow, great game last week, and the best team (at least at that point in time) won. Beat the snot out of the Pats for us, please. Go Broncos!

Thank you, Rebecca.
Beating a perennial playoff team like the Steelers was a real yardstick in the development of a young Denver team.
I’m not sure how often the Broncos win that game if it gets played 10 times.
But fortunately it only got played once and Denver played its game of the year.
Hopefully there is more in store. But, either way, it was a great day for the Broncos.
Best wishes for your time in France.
I can see Russia from my house.
Parisians are right up there with the Viennese
in terms of snottiness. Good luck from Pats nation!
It is what it is

If you are in Paris and want to get your NFL fix, here is an NFL Meetup group that may be able to help you find a place to enjoy the game(s). Good luck and thanks for the well wishes.

Will do on the beating the snot out of the Pats.
I knew someone would give you grief about Bronco Nation, actually you said Mile High Nation, which is different. Peace. GO BRONCOS!

Thank you for your thoughts...
I remember living overseas when the Refrigerator (“El Refrigerador”) Perry craze came out. “Thibault” sounds the same, but lacks some of the visual appeal. It sounds like you were able to watch the game, and I hope you are able to catch other playoff games and root for the Broncos, at least for the rest of this season.

Your team played hard
Thanks for the generous and gracious remarks, and for the story. I doubt very many people in France would ever get the Tebow phenomenon, but it’s interesting to see that their biggest newspaper gave it shot.
Thanks -
But I can’t help but wonder why you included the “at least at that point in time” line. The rest of the post is fine and I appreciate even, but that part makes it seem kind of like a backhanded compliment. Just sayin.
Whatcha gonna do, brother, when Tebowmania runs wild on you!
She's just saying we got them when they were down.
I agree to that. Hey, we still had to pull out the win. It’s no different than saying last time we lost to NE was because of the turnovers and we spotted them 13 points.
